Chef Cristeda "Cris" Pasia Comerford was born in the Philippines. She dropped out of school and immigrated to America, worked as a cook in various hotels before she was recruited to work in the White House kitchen in 1995. Over the past 15 years she worked her way up to the White House Executive Chef position since 2005.
She teamed with Bobby Flay and defeated Emeril Lagasse and Mario Batali. Congratulations!
