Indians vs East Asians (Similar but Different)

Hey guys,

Anyone else thinks that Indians are "East Asian lite." What I mean by this is that Indians have "high investment parenting." Their parents want them to study an succeed. East Asians well have a similar "high investment parenting."

However, that's where the similarities end. In my opinion, Indians have a much better, "work life balanced." Indians, except Pakistani Muslims since I consider them a different group, seem ro value their work life much more. Indians remind me of Europeans(Germans, Austrians) since thet value getting work done but they also have plenty of leisure time.

In contrast, East Asians seem to have a much more, "Intense" type of culture. What I mean by Intense is that they work hard but sometimes to a fault. While an Indian college student might study for a text twice a week, and East Asian might do it four to five times a week.

Also it seems Indians have better relationships with their parents. While East Asians relationships with their parents was much more "intense."
