I know this is probably an old rant, but I just have to draw attention to the complete and total crock of shit that is AFA (or loveme.com). All the profiles are blatantly, obviously fake, especially the Ukraine\Russia profiles. 90% of the women are models whose photos can be found other places on the net. Try doing Google Image Search on some of those profile pics.

The other countries aren't much better. Half the Chinese and Latin American chicks are bullsh*t also (ie: models). The only country that looks legit is the Philippines. You can tell because 95% of the Filipino girls are ugly as f*ck. Indeed, the Filipino profiles are too real. It's almost hard to believe there's a country where almost every single girl has something seriously wrong with their face. Are the Filipino people really this ugly? Seriously I'm not even picky about looks but wow.

So basically AFA is tons of fake model profiles and a ton of ugly Filipino girls. I guess there's a serious model shortage in the Philippines or something...

Agree. The only thing I disagree with is that 95% of Filipina's are ugly as f. I would say that about 80% are unattractive, with maybe 19% as cute, but only 1% hot.

Winston, the owner of this site earns revenue from those banner ads. It is those very banner ads you are criticizing that enable him to live a lifestyle HAPPIER ABROAD.

Apparently many of the profiles on AFA are fake and the correspondence is fake but this is just to lure you on one of their tours where you will meet real women.

There is hardly any online introduction agency existing which is not using fake or outdated profiles of women. Sometimes it is done on purpose by the agency, but often women signing up provide totally misleading and untrue information about themselves.

It is said that over 80 percent of profiles on the internet are containing wrong information or are a fake of a non-existing person.

To meet Filipina women you do not need any agency, just go there to any larger city in Philippines and try to find some contact with locals.

Ugly? This is a question of personal taste.
It is about race and ethnicity. A Russian woman looks differently from a Filipina. It's about a different race. A Chinese is not a Latina etc.

A difference in looks in Philippines is surely related to poverty and education level.
It's a big difference if the same Filipina shows up in rags in a village or wearing designer clothes in a 5-star hotel.

I cannnot confirm that a Filipina is ugly compared to a Chinese. These are two different ethnic groups.
Living in Japan, I have seen many ugly Chinese, Korean and Japanese girls too.

A local girl responds to an ad. She arrives at an office and fills out some paperwork and has some professional photos taken. She is signing up to be part of an "agency." This agency then sells her profile to all the websites that want it. Some of the websites are usually not the people who take the photos. These websites work with subcontractors (agencies) to provide them with profiles. The local girl is now available on several websites where her agency sold her profile. All these websites do is aggregate profiles and become the face of the international dating scene but it is the agencies who sign her up in the first place and sell her profile to whoever wants it.

I gotta say, it goes beyond that. I l love asian chicks generally, but most of the Filipina gals on AFA appear to suffer from facial asymmetry and other quirks. They say beauty is universal; apparently the same can be said for ugly as well...
