It was about 1998 or so ~ I remember there was a MASSIVE campaign by the demented, mentally-sick American males to promote females in all areas.

American men actively encouraged their own destruction ~ yet I CONTINUE to be baffled continuously why China/Russia/India made the same, obvious mistake. NO ONE should be so foolish ~ but the rest of the world's men were very foolish ~ hence, the rest of the world's men have been very very disappointing for the previous 17 years.

It's almost certainly related to the internet. First there were those chat rooms which gave women an over-inflated sense of their worth, then MySpace encouraged full-blown narcissism (most visited site on the internet as of 2005-2008), but both those phenomena were only a small fraction of the population. Whereas almost everyone is on Facebook (most visited site post-2008). I don't use Facebook myself, but I'm sure it is full of clever systems that make it infinitely more addictive than MySpace or the chat rooms and an infinitely stronger force for encouraging narcissism in women.

I have no idea what the future holds. As anyone can see from my posting here, I'm pretty much an internet addict myself, though I try to avoid things that encourage narcissism. Posting photos of myself, in particular, but also any forum which has UP-DOWN voting, or encourages snappy one-liner type comments, or where there is a lot of boasting and vanity (RooshV forums is like that, but I got banned from there like all decent guys so it doesn't matter LOL). I also make a point of traveling off the grid much of the year (I'll be taking off next week for a month in the desert, for example) to give myself a break from my internet addiction. But then I'm retired. I don't know what I would do if I were not retired and/or not able to travel off-grid like this.

I'm not worried about the end of the human race due to men and women not longer connecting. Not with 7 billion population and growing and most people still strongly socially programmed to reproduce. But I do think there will eventually be a backlash by part of the population against modern society. In particular, the real MGTOW types (not those bitter misogynistic who hang out in the MGTOW forums, but the guys who've simply resigned themselves to a hopeless future) may start retreating to monasteries, like men did during declining years of the Roman Empire, where internet usage will be strictly limited as will be monogamous relationships with women. The men will either be celibate, or masturbate, or else share a prostitute who comes by occasionally to service the men.

How old are you ghost? I was growing up in the 1960's. Lots of things changed between then and today (especially the ability of white men willing to work hard to get jobs that allowed for a decent standard of living), but the big change I see in narcissism in women was just recently. Though I would agree, upon thinking about the subject some more, that the internet might not be the fundamental cause. A good metaphor would be that the internet, and especially MySpace and Facebook, threw gasoline on a fire that had been smoldering underground for a long while previously. Similar, the economic crisis in 2008 caused an abrupt worsening of the economic situation for all men. Black men did not have it easy in the 1960's, I can tell you that from firsthand observation, but they made substantial gains up to about 2008, after which point everyone except the 1% and the retirees took a big cut in their economic situation.

Anyway, feminism is not the problem, IMO. Yes, it allows women to engage in unlimited hypergamy so that the top 1% of men get all the mating opportunities, but so what? A wise man is not addicted to his particular genes. Most genes are widely shared anyway. If the women try to mate with the best physical specimens, I'm all for it, for the sake of humanity's future. If women mate with blacks because black skin is better and so white men like men go extinct, so what? The gene for white skin is like .000001% of the total of my genetic heritage. It really means nothing. I'm a racist in the sense that I prefer sex with white women, but I'm non-racist in the sense that I don't really think skin color says a lot about a person, any more than eye color.

The real issue, for me, is getting access to women's bodies for sex. The way for men to fight the hypergamy trend is simple: share the p***y instead of demanding exclusive access. Either share a girlfriend with a couple of other guys, or go the all-out mongering route. Maybe in the future, the female sex drive will completely disappear due to hypergamy, but that a problem for future generations. In the meantime, there are still enough women who have a sex drive to accommodate all the men who are excluded from sex by hypergamy, provided the men cooperate.

I guess we have an issue with terminology, in particular the word "bad". I see "bad" as being narcissistic bitches. Giving out free p***y rather than requiring marriage to get p***y is "good" in my opinion. Abortion, birth control and openness about sex (not quite the same as "sexualization in the media" but related) are also "good" because they enable this access to free p***y. I saw the insides of those marriages from prior to the sexual revoluation. It wasn't a pretty site, neither for men nor for women, for the most part.

Slut society is a disaster for decent men seeking decent women for a traditional marriage, but for immoral and selfish men who care only about their own wants and needs, slut society is essentially Valhalla.

Even if he is one of the "lucky" ones who has more sex with worn-out, jaded, disease-ridden sluts than he otherwise might, there are many day-to-day drawbacks to living in slut society that may not at first be apparent.

And there were a lot more day-to-day drawbacks to life pre-sexual revolution. The only reason you guys can enjoy life in the Philippines is because you are somehow arbitraging between poverty there and the wealth of a modern feminist society like the United States. If you were born in the Philippines, to an typical poor family there, you wouldn't think so highly of it. People in the Philippines are happier on average than people in the United States only because most people in the United States are fools who don't know how to take advantage of their wealth to be even happier than the Filipinos. Wealth is nothing to scoff at, and it is closely related to slut society (though the causation probably runs wealth -> slut society rather than vice-versa).

It's not the fault of mainstream men. The illuminati may have infiltrated all major countries and is carrying out their agenda. They want to depopulate the world and have said so publicly. With everything becoming automated and with transhumanism coming after the information age that we are in now, the global elite have no need for a large population. Feminism helps to depopulate societies. The elite don't care about human rights.

What are you guys smoking? Women started to go really bad in the 1980s when greed and selfishness became the norm. They were still feminine and dateable in the 1970s. Yeah there was women's lib in the 70s but men could still date and marry decent women.

The 1990s were the worse. I was ready to start dating but every American girl was unattainable and too good for me and made excuses not to date me.
