And Spanish really isn't that difficult of a language to learn. Even after years of not using it I still can get by. I took 3 college level course in it with little fortitude to learn it other than passing the class. With a little effort and immersion you should pick it up in no time.
Easy hack:
Think of a big word in English, and say it like a Mexican. They will understand it. Because big words in English are from Latin. Spanish is simply degraded Latin.

Fact:
The same word in Spanish has 3 to 4 different translations in English. They simply do not have that many words. They are word-poor. Must be great for poetry, but damn hard to convey meaning. That's (one reason) why they have to chatter so fast, because to say anything takes like 50% more words than in English. The plus: there are FAR fewer words you have to learn in Spanish. Compared to English, a really really EASY language. More like Ebonics than proper English.
If you don't speak Spanish and still want to go to Latin America, there is a good solution: take Spanish lessons in the country you are interested in. You will learn Spanish and also meet people and build a social circle at the same time.

Here is a Spanish school with a good reputation in Peru:
http://elsol.idiomasperu.com/

It is located in Miraflores, the safest and most developed area of Lima.

spanish is not a difficult language to learn you just have to be consistent with it

You are rite it does have far less words than english however its the conjugation of every damn verb that screws people up. Some people have told me this is what irritates them the most about the language is the conjugates.

I agree. I never studied Spanish at all, just learned it 100% trough immersion and now my Spanish is quite good. However, taking Spanish lessons in a Latin American country makes things even easier AND it is a great way to meet local people.

What country do you advocate for in LA. I definitely plan on trying there again. I went to Honduras for 3 weeks in 2010 and was blown away by some of the women there. They seemed friendly and I had no problem cold approaching but my spanish was sub par. Though I am willing to work on it.
Unfortunately, I didn't spend much time down in LA so I can't provide you with expert advice. I did hear that Costa Rica, Venezeula and Guatemala had beautiful women there. Hopefully, I can return next year and give you a trip report.

I need to search this site for LA trip reports :)
Guatemala from what I hear has the most indigenous women which really turns me on kind of also they tend to be a lot shorter. This is what I hate about central america most women are small you don't get the variety that you get in the south.

Most latinas with some amerindian/indigenous blood will be short, even the mixed (mestiza) ones. If you want tall latinas you will have to go to the countries with more pure Spanish/Italian blood, like Argentina and Uruguay or the ones with more black blood, like the Latin Caribbean islands (Dominican Republic, etc.). You can usually find a minority of taller women with more pure European blood in all Latin countries, even the ones with more pure indigenous people, however they tend to be part of the wealthier class and are usually harder to date.

I first learned some basic Spanish by listening to some Mexican friends of mine. After that I met my Peruvian girlfriend and moved to Peru, where I heard Spanish all the time and also started speaking it myself. Now I can express myself quite well in Spanish, watch movies in Spanish, read articles, etc.

Yeah: Argentina, Uruguay (which is kind of like a small version of Argentina), Brazil. Or you could try to date a more upper class white latina in just about any country in Latin America. They are usually taller as well. Will be challenging though. And the taller women will usually also look a lot more European/Spanish than the girls you posted.

Why will it be challenging ?

I was talking about the wealthier, upper middle class/upper class, more European women in countries like Mexico, Peru etc (in Peru they are called "pitucas"). I have no experience with them myself, but from what I have heard they tend to only date within their own social circle of other more pure European, wealthier latinos. At least that is what it is like in Peru. I think it is possible for a foreigner to date them, but you will have to get into their social circles somehow. And you will probably have to live in their country for a while, speak good Spanish and have a bit of money as well.

I am talking about girls like this:

Usually a school like this will hook you up with a place to stay and help you "learn the ropes" locally.

Probably the best way to expat to a Latin country.

+1

Sums it up.
