Hey, all. I thought that it would be nice to try to make a list of movies and documentaries relevant to international life, international love, mail-order brides, sex tourism, etc. etc.

Please post some, and give some kind of recommendation.

I just finished watching The Civilization of Maxwell Bright.

I'll give the film 5 stars out of 5. The woman is exactly the kind of woman you would want to marry.

Mirabelle Ang's documentary Match Made

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1422199/

A Singaporean documentary about a Singaporean man who goes to Ho Chi Minh City to select a bride.

Nicely done and very thorough. Too bad the Vietnamese government has clamped down on this trade.

The term "mail order" is so incorrect. I really hate when people use that term because it's so false. Nobody physically places an order for a woman. Why can't they just call it foreign online dating? It's such a stupid way to describe foreign dating.

'Mail order' is a very derogatory term. It implies that the brides are bought when it isn't so at all,.. like a commodity. 'Foreign used' maybe lol but not mail order, where did that term come from?
