Lulu: the first feminist app?

This website/app just made the news on the online version of the biggest Italian newspaper (Corriere della Sera).

http://www.onlulu.com/

One of the features is a number of "top tips" about male psychology, in the form of brief "dear Dude" letter...an example on the site.

Dear Dude

One of my guy friends asked me on a date. From the beginning, I knew it wasn't going to go anywhere serious, but at the same time I didn't want it to seem like I wasn't giving him a chance because he is an awesome guy. So we went on a couple of dates and then he asked how I felt and told him I just wanted to be friends. Was it wrong if me to go out with him at all?? Help!

No. You're fine. He put you in a weird place. Not that I blame him. I've been there, in that guy's shoes. It sucks, but we do it to ourselves. He knew he was already in the friend zone, in that he was a guy you were hanging out with...

A few screenshots from the app...

...and an example of the imagery they use to advertise it.

Any thoughts? That is, whatever you might articulate as you regain finger functionality after cringing in horror/disgust LOL :)

Not sure if the app is feminist...It certainly is retarded and stupid though. Suits just perfect for the modern western female!

Judging from what they say on the website and the fact they're recruiting "agents" who will roam major campuses, they seem to be targeting the app (and its community) to the same hot and empty-headed female co-eds who would sleep with that lucky 1% of actual studs or decent looking daddy's boys. Perhaps they're aiming at following the same "seeding" and growth pattern Facebook had back in the days, only this time with a much more vertical (and probably more cash-laden) audience in mind.

However open-minded I am, what I can't understand is the claim the app makes to keep the girls' data absolutely private, while the men are susceptible to any kind of information leak and harsh judgment. I suspect the carousel will stop as soon as a disgruntled man with (parents with) enough cash will feel insulted and file a lawsuit against the site as well as the bitch(es) who offended him. Technology cannot be stopped, and neither can stupidity.
