Given that HA members live in many countries, I thought it would be interesting to see what the ratio of men to women is in their local bars / pubs.

Suggest we keep the survey simple and in the following format.

(here's mine based on my night out last night)

Country : England
City / Town. : Nottingham
Ratio. (M/F). : 7 to 1

Oberservations : Most women were over 30 years old, generally overweight and unattractive. The men were probably were aged 30-40, a few overweight, but generally most in reasonable shape. I did notice that not many men were even attempting to talk to the women - not really a surprise as there was nothing attractive to talk to do.

I am down south and yes this is probably the same ratio, its useless... unless you are prepared to drop your sights and go for a 4/10 and even then you would have to listen to it's shit all night and buy endless drinks and then probably wake up with a STD in the morning!

Ratio is 20:1 in Russian Nightclubs/bars. Maybe this is why Jack Bragg, AFA and others have roughly 10:1 women to clients at their socials???

AFA on average is taking 30-50 men on their Ukrainian tours. Each social is packed with 100-150-200 women. So anywhere from 4:1 to 10:1 on average.

Again this is economics.... Watch

Go to a high end nightclubs, dress to impress to get in, have at least one woman with you so you don't get caught standing outside too long.

You'll notice with the expensive drinks flowing the women are quite a bit better looking and thin. Go to typical Nightclub frequented by those who "think" they are middle class and those who know they are working class to working poor. You'll notice the waistlines on both side have increased, this is especially the case with women.

Why? Because women understand there is a shortage of women, so they figure you will accept them or don't. No reason for them to change.

They may complain of largely no men being available in their local pool so they go online, but the truth is, they have eliminated 80% of the men from consideration automatically.

There are tons of British women US based dating sites, it should be alarming to British men but its not.

Down South in England or the USA?

Even if the ratio in the west was 50-50, you have to consider that every woman in that bar came there with a man or a group of cock blockers. Ratios mean nothing unless EVERY person in that bar showed up single and is looking for someone. Never the case in police states like the U.S. and England ("how dare single straight males have a venue to go to where they are assured to get a single woman!!!"). But anyway, as I was saying, just talk to women in bars these days and you can bet either her boyfriend will step to you like he's some kind of badass, or either her cock blocking girlfriends will fill her head with lies about you, or the bouncers will escort you out for "harassing" those girls over there. Why do ratios mean anything in western bars? However, I am curious about ratios in non-misandric countries.

I'm from Weymouth, where they had the Olympic sailing events (should be renamed Welfaremouth), the ratio in bars/clubs is similar to how you describe Nottingham. One thing is though, I remember it being slightly better a few years ago.

I also notice the gap between attractiveness; there is noticeably fewer attractive women than there are in-shape men. The only attractive women I say (well, compared to foreign that is) are ones in couples.

I notice this. Pubs and clubs round here mostly cater for the latter type.

Anyway, what about the ratio of approachable-looking to non-approachable, stuck-up, scowling faces? I would be interested to here about those differences. In my area, you virtually see none of the former.

I was at a club in Kensington (London) on Friday night. Plenty of single women and single men dancing, mingling and occasionally making out. Don't count on exact numbers, but I could have guessed the ratio was 50:50, if not slightly biased towards single women, actually.

The lower quality English women are skanky and nasty; for example, the ones you see at the bars getting drunk and stuff. The more sophisticated and classy English women are pretty hot though (i.e. Kate and Pippa Middleton). I suggest finding the hot English women at university settings like cafes and libraries, and university towns like Oxford and Cambridge. Also, some of the hot professional working women can be found in the finance/healthcare/law sector. But for the most part, most English chicks are horrid.

Depends on the bar. Depends on the suburb. Depends on the band playing. At my local in a middle class suburb the ratio is about 5:1 men over women. Alot of the men are regular barflys over 40 which cuts down on the competition. It's a beachside suburb which attracts lots of young barely dressed hotties.

I suggest Brits make a beeline to the FSU women already in the UK. Lots of Russians, Polish and other women in country already.

Here in Mexico the ratio is about 1.2:1 of women to men. It's almost exactly the same but there still seems to be slightly more women than men. Also, cockblocking is unknown here unless the man is a total jerk-off, and by total jerk-off I don't mean he's a "creep" like the American women are fond of saying, I mean he does something totally uncalled for like grabbing the breasts of a woman he just met 10 seconds earlier. Here as well people arrive in groups but the groups intermingle unlike in the United States where the people you arrive with are the people you leave with except for rare exceptions, and even if you arrive alone you will eventually end up in a group with other people unless you don't talk to anyone. Nightclubbing in Mexico is definitely a more rewarding experience for the single man than nightclubbing in the United States.

What cities in Mexico are good for a guy from the USA to go. I don't speak Spanish. Are there some Anglophile girls?

Bars in the USA are just a bunch of cockblockers, who do everything they can to prevent their GFs leaving with a man!

I would say where I live, most good looking girls have that "scowling, stuck up look on their face." They look completely unapproachable and unfriendly. This is true whether you see them at a bar, nightclub, bookstore or grocery store.

God forbid these women actually smile at you and show interest in you. They walk past men like they don't exist. My guess is that most of these good looking girls already have boyfriends.

I really hate that "scowling, stuck up look" that a lot of american girls have.

Ciudad Juarez is better for meeting women compared to the US. I've only been to a few bars, but they were all sausage fests. I'm now wondering if single men really do outnumber single women in Juarez due to femicides that have been occurring there since the 90s. But I was told there were clubs and bars that ha more women than men.

At least I didn't see any cockblockers in Mexico.
