The world wide economy is becoming so efficient that alot of jobs will not be necessary in the future and are not necessary now. People like my brother in law who is a contractor and can fix and build about anything are your real producer's society needs to maintain and advance.

Everybody being replaced by technology is great if we organize the world correctly so we can enjoy the planet and quit fooling around with menial tasks. Chasing money is a menial task for menial idiots.

Stop working for other people, start your own company and/or go into real estate.

We're in the information age now, where entrepreneurs rule.

There is no better time than now to become an entrepreneur.

Stop looking for a job.

Get a business coach and mentor who can help you and stop making excuses.

Excuses are a poor man's motto.

Cornfed is right, Silver Energy you have got to see this by now. We are dealing with an organization that has unlimited money to destroy you in many ways at the push of a button. We all work for the credit monopoly unless you are completely of the grid and I mean completely.

Starting a business is hard. Imagine letting go of your hard earned capital then worrying if you will eventually get it back.

This is also the age where standards of living have increased dramatically. The corporation thing is bullshit but at least it offers a way to make some serious cash. I hate the idea of working for someone else though.

Bullshit stop trying to put a square peg in a round hole.

Build a business where its affordable that is NOT the United States. Most business fail because they can't get capital. This isn't an issue in say Central America because start up cost are dirt cheap that you can easily do it by saving money and working at Mickey D's. Once you have about $3-5K, buy a $350 plane ticket and don't look back.

I'm not focused on getting rich. I've set a much more modest goal for myself: I want to make it up to $1000 USD a month that I make through either passive or self-employed ways. That way I free myself to live (modestly) virtually anywhere. I don't care about being rich and the more money you make, the more taxes you pay to support a human meat grinder. (And DaddyGov taxes based on citizenship, so becoming rich abroad wouldn't help.) More money, more problems as the saying goes.

Others have already said it better than I have. It's a system of fake money where the only possible result is that TPTB win. I only need a little to survive and I want a relatively modest life anyway. f**k TPTB - some other sap can break his back his whole life rather than me for them.

This sums up my approach re money goals. I'll never be rich. My aim is to be financially independent and have around $1500 USD inflation adjusted passive monthly income from dividends and cash deposits, enough to last 25 to 30 years or so. Not sure what I'll do if I live much after this :(

I live pretty frugally and am living on a little less than that now. I'm a quite a few years away from my goal however and losing my job would screw up my plans.

Look there are a lot of issues here but some people around here understand what is going on and you don't obviously, these guy's are going to be fazing out cash shortly and practically have already with the help of the masses.

Each individual will be in a situation to where we all will be at the mercy of the corporation and they will be able to just push a button and shut your digital credits off and you will just wither away.

Your business doesn't have to be corporate like Walmart or McDonalds.

Find a market that has money in it and make sure you are solving a problem of your customers.

Although you do want to register your company AS a corporation to have the tax benefits.

Do you mean you don't have what it takes to be rich or you're just not going to try?

That's why you'll never be rich because of your language and vocabulary.

Get a business plan written and start submitting it to Angel Investors and if one likes your plan, they will fund you.

There are many resources on how to raise capital for your business idea.

Not having enough money to start a business is NOT an excuse.

You can get a business plan written for you from $5 to $40 on Fiverr.

I'm not going to be "rich" by what many people would think of as rich but I am really focussed on having "enough" money. I don't think I have what it takes to be rich but I can get enough money for my needs.

I'm up to year 14 ie if I left my job tomorrow I'd have enough money to last for 14 years (1500 USD per month inflation adjusted - inflation rate of 3%, rate of return of 6% after tax). I'm a way off from getting to my goal of 25 years but really keen to make it.
