Will Women give us happiness?
I present my synthesis as follows and is a mix of viewpoints I found here.
Conclusion:
1. -- Access to pretty women important to happiness [priori. not having results to sadness]
2. -- Access to pretty women not possible/unfavorable in USA [self-evident + my argument which is based on logic of the bell curve]
3. -- Must travel abroad for access to pretty women thus happiness [or settle for less and find contentment]
Notes:
Pretty women (def) female quality as function of universal taste and my personal taste
My case seems logically sound but still feels shaky. I am unsure why. Maybe it is because I am quite content but still feel an anger towards the inequality/injustice.

That's right, when you get older it's less important.
It's killing marriage rates because the women are not available when guys need women the most. Once a guy passes a certain point in his mid-thirties he starts thinking much more rationally and no rational man would get married. It's simply not in his interest.
I'm 38 and in the last 4 years my interest in women has plummeted, not only sex but intimacy. I gained a sureness about myself that changes the dynamics but it does not make you "happy". What makes you happy is the confidence that comes from no longer caring.
The problem is by the time they like you, you've been around long enough to know better.

No longer giving a damn can be pretty empowering, too.

if you want happiness, you need to realize that all is vanity. human motivation is survival, then vanity. its our natural tendency. upon realizing this, inside you may arise a pull to not just be another superficial vain human out of billions, that motivation is not vanity, and it is your connection to truth and happiness if you follow it. if you feel a desire to love a woman, that may be motivated out of true compassion, but it is likely to be laced in vanity also, so it is better not to be pursued. cyclic desire gets you nowhere, truth gets you everywhere, specifically to experiencing unity and unlimited peace and happiness. but it can only come from ridding yourself of your vanity.
