I'm trying to understand why Toronto is worse than let's say Boston to DC.

At least Toronto's got enough of an ex-pat population, plus legal esc*rts, to beat most of the US cities.

I have a "nice guy" friend who is married to a woman that was 30 years old, divorced. NO KIDS, who was asking around for men to be set up with - and who were intelligent. And yes, she was decently attractive. Evidently, Boston has a bunch of universities and thus a lot of coeds, so as far as American dating markets go, it's amongst the best, for whatever THAT is worth.

Russia is more feminist-friendly than you might think.

There is hardly anything known to me what under Putin was done to improve the situation of straight men when facing problems with women.
Laws in Russia are not particularly male-friendly - more the opposite if you ask me.

If you know some laws or otherwise actions of the Putin government which benefits straight men let me know.

Nowadays, men are more likely to be considered as cannon fodder sent to Ukraine.

However it is true that Putin is not supportive to this never ending stupid woke, transgender, homosexuality etc. discussion. He strongly considers a marriage legally to be valid between a straight man and a straight woman only.

But otherwise? Check out the homeless, alcoholics, suicide, war deaths, prison population etc. and the general low life expectancy of men (about 66.5 years in 2020) in Russia. 10 years shorter than for women (76.4 years in 2020).

It is even getting worse for men in 2022 - more than 60.000 Russian men are either dead or seriously wounded because of the war with Ukraine.

I guess, also in future, it will be better living in Canada than in Russia.
