City Walking Videos
I watch a lot of city walking videos on YouTube.....I've been watching NYC ones and Tokyo ones. It's almost like I'm there. I meant to go to NYC last summer but never did. Hopefully I can get to NYC this year. Any of you guys watch city walking videos?
While I'm typing this, I just searched for rio de janeiro walking tour and found this:

Re: City Walking Videos
Yeah, I watch city walking videos too. I like to get a feel for the architecture, streets, general vibe, and the women. I also start to feel like I'm really there.
Not so long ago I made a thread with profiles of the highland cities of Colombia:
viewtopic.php?f=7&t=47198
For each city I included a map showing the location, data on population, climate, altitude, etc.; and both street view and aerial videos. When I made that thread, I was already doing my own research on different parts of Colombia, collecting videos and saving relevant information in an OpenOffice document and so I thought that I might as well do it here on HA for others to see.

I prefer the Wild On E! experience or seeing that one guy who use to tour cities late at night, Dave Antell he had a show called Insomniac.
But that was back when television was still cool and worth watching. Back when I could tolerate Howard Stern before he turned into a death clot pusher and got mad at people who refused to get the jab.

Yeah, I do enjoy them as well for the reasons that Lucas mentioned above. I usually like to watch walking videos mostly from cities and towns in Europe and sometimes from other places as well like China, Iran, Thailand, Japan and Russia...

I watch them all the time, especially about cities I'm thinking of moving to.
