America is addicted to regulation, from both "liberal" and "conservative" sides. From what I gather someone from the 1800's would find the country's mindset completely unrecognizable. Bad part is some countries are copying this as well, as they try to 'modernize'.

I think America will be broken up into parts. There is a very real possibility of that, everything seems to be deliberately created to break up America like Russia.

The best thing that could happen to America, or the world for that matter, is that it breaks into 10 or 20 independent states that keep a check on each other, and that each gets to tax less individuals. The monstrosity of taxing 300 million is only a recipe for misery.
