Photography

Can a person earn some good money from photography? Such as a part time thing when a person goes traveling or they live abroad. Photographs like nature, wildlife, scenery, and various vacation spots? An investment into professional camera would be required to take high-end photographs.

No - photographs have no value. My Samsung phone takes photos nearly as good as my SLR. Sheesh. Everyone is a photographer these days.

But if you want to try and earn from photography, photos of people (with model release) are best.
I was Happier Abroad for a while but Covid killed that off.

Quality photographic equipment has gone down in price a lot, to the point that even people like me who have no notion of photography can take a few half-decent shots of their favourite exotic getaways or their tipsy friends at a party. People who study photography for many years and have skills, talent and perhaps a few good ideas on what and where to shoot are still able to make good money.

I have a friend who married a Russian woman who did a degree and masters in Photography here in London. She can be easily defined a pro, yet she's struggling to make £900 as a wedding photographer.
