Ppl, I've achieved it. My lesbian pal and I went out to Provincetown MA. We went out to cafe/restaurants, dancing, and did seaside stuff on the dunes, etc, and NO GUYS HIT ON ME
It was great, totally gorgeous town with panoramic Atlantic vistas. It really is the premier New England seaside oasis. All over, there were guys holding hands (& showing public displays of affection)

but I had my Lesbo-pal, shielding me from getting hit on. In P-town, the rules are simple, bring a gal with you and the guys will honor the heterosexual code. Come alone, be decent looking & articulate ... and then every other guy in those places will try to pick you up
I've done it. For years, ever since my Brazilian lady and I had parted ways, I've been unable to go to P-town because the few times I went w/o a woman on my arm, I was dodging men, all over the place.
Many years ago, the Best Picture of 1999, "American Beauty", telegraphed the message of Happier Abroad to the world.
Beware of long term engagements with AWs, you may find yourself in a coffin.

BTW, despite settling down with an AW, myself, the warning is still in effect.
