It seems like there is not as much civil discourse anymore. Perhaps it was because liberals were actually liberals, and conservatives were libertarians, so they actually cared about this country. Just a thought.

There is no significant difference between liberals and conservatives. Both are part of modern culture which is rapidly going down the toilet.

I guess what I am saying is that people actually treated people like people. Now they are only enemies

I've never seen the country as divided politically, racially, ethnically, and class-wise, as it is now. It's sad to see....
