I think most guys here are good people with authentic souls and freethinking minds. The problem is that the trolls and nasty people get all the attention. And the drama threads get the most replies.

I do agree there is a lot of insecurity among some members. A lot of bragging too. Some threads are just one big pissing match, and whoever yells the most and loudest is king of the jungle at times like that. It can be very annoying at times, but often it's funny enough to just shrug it off. Either way, there's plenty of issues with this forums and its userbase. Which is a shame because at it's core, the idea behind HA is brilliant.

but the whole premise of HA is based on neuroticism therefore HAers should be that demographic. If we were truly a Godsend genetically speaking we wouldn't feel the need to go abroad.

It's hard to take HA seriously. A bunch of guys show up claiming absurd things (high notch counts, insane financial claims) and inevitably some tools go out and lick it all up.

I wonder if I get the 'white knight' label for not believing there are no good potential wives in America, for being against using women for fornication, and for thinking that men are largely responsible for promoting and tolerating feminism. I don't think I fit the men's movement definition of a 'white knight' but it doesn't matter anyway.

I don't take the forums too seriously. It's a mix of all kinds of thing. Cornfed and a few others promote their racist ideas. Several Chinese guys complain about the dating situation in the US. So do the rest of the posters. I don't agree with the underlying theme that all women would make bad wives 1or that all American women are bad to date or marry. (Maybe the majority, but not all.) I think going abroad to find a wife is a valid option. I'm opposed to mongering/fornication, and I'm here mainly to be a positive attitude on the mongerers and poor guys who are so depressed about the idea of finding a woman that they come on a forum like this to vent.

I'm happily married to a God-fearing Indonesian woman who works hard to keep a clean house, help me raise our kids, cares for me, sleeps with me, and whose faithful to me.
