If true and confirmed, this is really very serious.

Russian Troops Suffer ‘Acute Radiation Sickness’ After Digging Chernobyl Trenches
Thu, March 31, 2022

Several hundred Russian soldiers were forced to hastily withdraw from the Chernobyl nuclear power plant in Ukraine after suffering “acute radiation sickness” from contaminated soil, according to Ukrainian officials.

The troops, who dug trenches in a contaminated Red Forest near the site of the worst nuclear disaster in history, are now reportedly being treated in a special medical facility in Gomel, Belarus. The forest is so named because thousands of pine trees turned red during the 1986 nuclear disaster. The area is considered so highly toxic that not even highly specialized Chernobyl workers are allowed to enter the zone.

Energoatom, the Ukrainian agency in charge of the country’s nuclear power stations, said the Russian soldiers had panicked and fled.

“It has been confirmed that the occupiers who seized the Chernobyl nuclear power plant and other facilities in the Exclusion Zone set off in two columns towards Ukraine’s border with Belarus. The occupiers announced their intentions to leave the Chernobyl nuclear power plant this morning to the Ukrainian personnel of the station," the agency said in a statement on Telegram, adding that a small number of Russians still remained at the facility.

The agency said it had also confirmed reports of Russian forces digging trenches in the Red Forest, “the most polluted in the entire exclusion zone.”

“Not surprisingly, the occupiers received significant doses of radiation and panicked at the first sign of illness. And it showed up very quickly.”

Local reports suggest that seven buses with the zapped troops arrived in Gomel early Thursday. Journalists on the ground have also reported “ghost buses” of dead soldiers being transported from Belarus to Russia under the cover of dark.

Another batch of Russian irradiated terrorists who seized the Chernobyl zone was brought to the Belarusian Radiation Medicine Center in Gomel today,” Yaroslav Yemelianenko, who works for the Public Council at the State Agency of Ukraine for Exclusion Zone Management

Did anyone hear about those torture videos of Ukraine soldiers torturing Russian POWs to death? Did anyone see them? Do they look real or staged? The Ukrainian generals claim they are staged but people say they look very real and gruesome.

The thing is: Who would benefit from filming tortures? The Ukrainians do not benefit from it, because those videos only make the Russians angrier and fight harder and drum up support for the invasion in Russia. So it's not to Ukraine's benefit. But Russia does benefit from them, because they drum up support for their invasion. Plus those who filmed the torture could be arrested and tried for war crimes. Their faces are in the video right? So why would the torturers want to film it when it could be used against them? I don't get it. Isn't Putin gonna order a manhunt for those who did the torture?

Russian general blessed by the Orthodox Church before Putin's invasion 'organised mass rape and murder' in Ukraine town

Lieutenant Colonel Azatbek Omurbekov is commander of the 64th Separate Motorised Rifle Brigade
He and his men stand accused of committing war crimes in Bucha, a town on the outskirts of Kyiv
Omurbekov was blessed by the Russian Orthodox Church just weeks before the Russian invasion
It is not possible of course to verify such reports. For sure however many died or are severely injured, on both sides, Russians and Ukrainians.
The area around the capital of Kyiv is totally destroyed.

To people at the top, most soldiers are pawns. Soldiers are expendable losses to die in combat operations and war. Sometimes, soldiers who die or are tortured can act as useful martyrs. No, there wouldn't be a manhunt for killing ordinary pawns who are turned into martyrs by the enemy and increase the justification for the war. In essence, it doesn't matter who did it, because it will have turned expendable pawns into martyrs.

I'm sure the Russians will appreciate the donation, should they decide to keep the tanks rather than destroy them.

Wouldn't the russians just destroy those tanks by air as they are rolling on the ground? Or does the russian air force suck that much? They knew where the foreign legion was hiding so they must know stuff. They could also capture the NATO supplies and use them for their own troops. That would be funny if that happened. The look on NATOs face would be priceless if all the weapons they sent to Ukraine were captured and used by the russians instead.

Not so easy, the situation is different between the Russians and the Ukrainians.
It is a difference between invasion and defence.

Tanks are rolling around in case of an invasion, but if used for defense they mosty stay on the same place in hiding.

These tanks might be soon somewhere hidden in any destroyed building or covered in a field and will not move around.
They are for defense for a certain street in rural area or in a city protecting a bridge or such objects I guess..
They could also capture the NATO supplies and use them for their own troops. That would be funny if that happened. The look on NATOs face would be priceless if all the weapons they sent to Ukraine were captured and used by the russians instead.
More the opposite at this moment, the Ukrainians are using the weapons which Russians left behind....
also their tanks of course, they are good in repairing ...

The Ukrainian Army Has More Tanks Now Than When The War Began—Because It Keeps Capturing Them From Russia
So far the Russians were looting only the Red Cross convoy and were stealing all the food they found.
The Russians have a hard time in Ukraine. Still cold, vehicles often unable to move because of melting snow and everywhere is mud. Often ambushed by Ukrainians with molotov cocktals and set their tanks on fire.

Ukrainian fighters also receive more and more weapons and other materials from EU, UK and USA. And very important, Western countries accept all refugees - mostly children and mothers - and take care of them.

NATO has given Ukraine anti-tank and anti-craft missiles and also a lot of small arms and protective equipment.

Russians so far failed to remove the Ukrainian government - a terrible miscalculation of Putin and his staff. He expected a welcome with flowers and no resistance.

It sounds like a bunch of NATO officers and foreign mercenaries are trapped in Mariupol. I hope the Russians treat them like the bastard criminals that they are.

Any link for that?
Nothing in the Russian media about that (TASS, RT, Pravda.ru)

About Ukrainian Pravda, still some connection to Mariupol seems to function.
However Mariupol is still controlled by Russia, see map below.

Long way to Kyiv - tanks are quite good for defense, they are hiding somewhere and after quickly disappear again, changing their position.
However they are vulnerable for invasion, they need a lot of fuel and if attacked from behind they easily catch fire and if fired on from the side, their chains break easily and the tank cannot move on...
Footage shows a lone Ukrainian T-64 tank ambushing a drove of Russian vehicles in Nova Basan, Ukraine
The armoured vehicle was able to fire several rounds at the invaders and successfully destroyed two vehicles
Tank cleverly concealed itself behind a house and thread its shells between other buildings
Kyiv claimed close to 20,000 of Moscow's troops have been killed since Russia's invasion began on Feb. 24

Ukrainian soldiers have also used one of Moscow's captured thermobaric weapons against Russian troops

U.N. suspends Russia from human rights body, Moscow then quits
UNITED NATIONS (Reuters) – The United Nations General Assembly on Thursday suspended Russia from the U.N. Human Rights Council over reports of “gross and systematic violations and abuses of human rights” in Ukraine, prompting Moscow to announce it was quitting the body.

The U.S.-led push garnered 93 votes in favor, while 24 countries voted no and 58 countries abstained. A two-thirds majority of voting members in the 193-member General Assembly in New York – abstentions do not count – was needed to suspend Russia from the 47-member Geneva-based Human Rights Council.

Speaking after the vote, Russia’s deputy U.N. Ambassador Gennady Kuzmin described the move as an “illegitimate and politically motivated step” and then announced that Russia had decided to quit the Human Rights Council altogether.
-----
Russia had warned countries that a yes vote or abstention will be viewed as an “unfriendly gesture” with consequences for bilateral ties, according to a note seen by Reuters.
This means 151 countries (93 yes, 58 abstained) are now considered to be 'unfriendly' by Russia. LOL
