Catholic Vietnamese women

I rea done where on this forum that Buddhist Vietnamese girls are nicer and better to date than the Catholic ones. There is this online friend of mine from Vietnam (Buddhist), and he told me that his Catholic Vietnamese girlfriend broke up with him because she just wanted $$$$ and so did her family. They have not been back together since.


So, is it true that the Catholic Viet women are more susceptible when it comes to capitalist materialistic values (due to their long history as an imperialist colony and US invasion), while the Buddhist ones are sweeter and more traditional?


Also, in case you guys did not know, there is this marriage tradition in Vietnam that when a girl gets married, she gets her feet washed by her husband as a sign of their union and the husband's love and care towards his newlywed bride.
