Because if they ran the country they would revoke one of the amendments and make barack Obama the president for life, like a king. Just imagine 4 terms with president Obama from 2009 to 2024. Or if he survived imagine 5 terms, 2009 to 2028.

This is why so many people immigrate out of the USA, for employment. Then they accidentally find their soul mate and get married and seek 2nd citizenship overseas and never discover this website.

The right doesn't want 4 term presidency like what happened with fdr in WW2 so they make sure the constitution is upheld. Also there's checks and balances so that's necessary for a lot of reasons.

Affirmative action is objectively unfair to students who genuinely put in the effort. Those that didn't make the academic result can still study overseas if they wanted to attend a prestigious university. It's better than relying on affirmative action, first of all, in America there's already enough "black professors with PhD".

Also it's 2024 and we're on the verge of world war 3.
