Yes, Winston I too feel a depressing, meaningless "vibe" being here in the U.S. for three possible reasons!!! First, I think is a reflection of American society (just as with it's architecture and trash pop culture) with it's emphasis on making money above everything else, stressing over the high cost-of-living, the lack of social connection, no sense of a strong community/belonging, lack of creativity or passion, super competitiveness, rigid conformity, etc. Second Winston, with the U.S. being located in the Northern Hemisphere, having less warmth and sunlight year-round (especially in the winter months) than let's say Costa Rica, Brazil, Thailand, or the Philippines may be a contributing factor affecting people's mood. After all natural sunlight provides vitamin D.Winston wrote:Have you guys noticed that in America there is this vibe that tries to suck out your soul and spirit? It also tries to torture you mentally and psychologically too. Its hard to explain or put into words. You know what i mean?
Its like there is a metaphysical bully and vampire in America that tries to destroy your soul or corrupt it. And if you are sensitive or soulful, you will especially become its target and will suffer the most. Its as if there is this dark energy in America that loves to destroy the real you and eat your soul or poison it. Do you sense it too? Its very sickening and terrible and sad. Yet no one dares to publicly mention it.
The thing is, despite all of Chinas problems, at least in China you dont feel this vibe or energy that wants to suck out your soul and spirit or crush you psychologically. Something is really wrong in America that cant be put into words. You notice that?
Third, Winston there could be a more "esoteric" reason for the America's "soul-crushing" vibe. According to numerologist Glynis McCants who wrote the book "Glynis Has Your Number", both people and locations do give off vibrations. In the sixteenth chapter of her book entitled, "LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION: CHOOSING WHERE TO LIVE AND TRAVEL BY THE NUMBERS", McCants says that for a person to truly fit in to a place or VIBRATION LOCATION, their "life path" number which is calculated by adding all of the numbers on their birthday ( 01/25/1973=28 =2+8=10=1+0= 1) and the letters of the state, city, or country using the Pythagorean number system A,J, and S=1; B,K, and T=2; C,L, and U=3; D,M, and V=4; E, N, and W=5; F, O, and X=6; G,P, and Y=7; H, Q, and Z=8; I and R=9. I my case my "life path" number is=1 meaning that some countries with numbers that total 1, 5, and 7 are considered a natural match (examples would be Panama(1), Brazil (5), Philippines (7)). While those whose numbers total 2,3, and 9 are compatible matches (such as Germany (2), Australia (3), Bahamas (9)). This means these are all places in which could visit and even live/expatriate to without feeling any negative energy/vibrations. However, there are some countries whose numbers total what are called CHALLENGE OR TOXIC NUMBERS. For me being a life path/vibration="1", the numbers 4, 6, and 8 aren't good numbers for it. Some examples of this would be Italy (4), Russia (6), and China (8). The UNITED STATES adds up to a number 4 vibration!!! Meaning that all of these places could be fine for visiting but I'm not destined to live in. However, I'm not saying that numerology is scientific or gospel truth but, I do think it can provide a possible clue as to why I am more sensitive or feel at ease in some locations more than others. What do you think?
