Why do female men's rights activists have short hair?

I've seen some videos from Karen Straughan. I haven't watched this one, but it's an example to show you her haircut. She has a short haircut, like a man's, that doesn't suit her, IMO.

Here is another one with a bad haircut, better than the other one, but she doesn't seem to be into fixing up her hair for her male audience in this video.
