Yes, it's very strange on his part. A few days ago there was a thread title having to do with "niggers," which Winston immediately deleted. Yet, he seems unwilling to apply the same logic to someone who utters a degrading racial epithet about HIS people. Very strange indeed.

BAW and winston share the same negative opinions about american women. This is why he is taking favorites and giving him little to no punishment for his behavior.
