Key West Fantasy Fest is really losing it's fantasy.

In 1979, Key West's annual Fantasy Fest, a 10-day Mardi Gras type of street party that takes place every October around Halloween, was started by a group of locals to bring more visitors to Key West.

Fantasy Fest, in it's original nature, is as I said very similar to Mardi Gras except with a more wild side. Women would walk around topless with their breasts hanging out, a few of them even about fully nude except for shoes, they would take pictures with people, some even letting the guys touch them for a pose. People would be friendly and social with one another. Basically, Fantasy Fest would be an event where default social ice barriers are breached, people are not highly cliquey, and even single guys by themselves aren't looked upon like perverts, sex predators, rapists, and all else. Not to mention some really great events including a parade down Duval Street.

Unfortunately today, Fantasy Fest is really losing it's Fantasy really badly. As of the past couple of years, the general crowd at Fantasy Fest has become very highly Americanized. Single guys are starting to get pushed away, excluded, and treated like rapists. Especially guys who are single and have romantic fetishes they want to get on camera. For example, let's say that, being a guy, your fetish with the topless women is, with her permission of course, putting your arm (or arms) under her breasts and lifting or propping them up as if keeping them from falling down for a picture pose. No grabbing or anything, just even flat, open hands or even a slight cup to them. Basically a sort of "breasts on the platter" type of pose. Something you will never, ever see in any Playboy magazine, and will only see in maybe 2 or 3 individual videos within the entire arena of Internet p**n. And as obvious, cameras are prohibited inside all American strip clubs, so the guys go to Fantasy Fest and take those kinds of pictures with the women there.

Of course, if you want to pose like that with a topless woman, you have to ask her first if it's okay if you put your arm under her breasts for a picture, because not all topless women will let you do that for a picture. As recently as even 2012 and 2013, if you ask a topless (or nude) woman at Key West's Fantasy Fest if you can put your arm under her breasts for a picture, you had easily a good 70 to 85 percent chance of her saying; "Yes, go right ahead!" or something similar. Even if she was with a boyfriend/fiancee/husband, there was even up to an 80 percent chance of him okaying it. Fast forward to 2016 and you ask a woman if you can do that at Key West's Fantasy Fest, and you have only maybe a 30 to 40 percent chance of her saying; "Yes, go right ahead" or something similar. More of them than ever would say; "No thanks" or even "No way" or something similar. Even the guys are starting to push other single guys away from their groups. In other words, Fantasy Fest is veering sharply away from the happy, party, social, and romantic scene that treats even single guys like part of the crowd and is becoming heavily mainstreamed with America's toxic, soulless, disconnected, hateful, paranoid, venomous, and totally inauthentic culture.

At the same time, I am also getting sketchy information that, as of the 2015 and 2016 Fantasy Fests, the police are cracking down again on the nudity and lewd conduct at Key West's Fantasy Fest. They were reportedly ordering the topless women at the 2016 Fantasy Fest (the "Political Voodoo" one) to cover up again. As recently as 2013, there were numerous women walking around with their full breasts, nipples and all, unpainted, unpastied, and fully exposed. Now the police are ordering the ladies to cover them up again. I am also even getting sketchy reports of women getting arrested by the police at Fantasy Fest for nudity and lewd conduct including possibly during the 2015 and 2016 Fantasy Fests. If they continue to do this, they really may as well just have the FBI and Homeland Security along with JPATS arresting all the nudes and lewds at Fantasy Fest and hauling them to Federal lockup facilities near Washington, DC. Yes, even as if putting your arm under a woman's naked breasts for a picture pose, even with her direct permission and consent, were as serious/major an offense under Federal law as even a terrorist bombing attack against a government building, and even one as major or bigger in magnitude than even the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing. Because anything that is illegal within the Fantasy Zone at Key West's Fantasy Fest is illegal under Federal law in the entire United States of America, straight from Capitol Hill in Washington, DC. This tells me that nudity/lewd conduct are Federal crimes, not municipal crimes.

It's also weird, but someone told me even that one reason for the crackdown is children. Fantasy Fest really should be restricted to adults at least 18 years of age and older only, and the police really ought to have signs that say that you must be at least 18 years of age or older to enter the Fantasy zone.

Clearly, single guys who can not afford a huge luxury mc mansion in a gated community, a luxury, streamlined Ferrari with the doors that raise up in the air, and the ability to give a woman every single luxury in the world on a solid, sparkling gold platter, and who are tired of pornography, will be getting all the stronger and heavier a reason to leave the United States of America permanently.
