I don't get why the hell blacks weren't removed after they became obsolescent as farming and factory equipment. Their owners should have been held responsible for properly disposing of them. You shouldn't be allowed to just leave your junk lying around where it is going to be a nuisance to others.

What's really sad is how Detroit completely failed to re-invent itself in the wake of the auto industry decline. Michigan is an attractive-looking state with lots of lakes and forrests and detroit itself sits between Lake Erie and Huron and Canada. I don't see why this city couldn't have re-modeled itself as an attractive tourist destination and a transportation hub.

I heard that what happened to Detroit also happenned to about two-thirds of Chicago, but Chicago survived due to it's tourist-magnet downtown/lakefront and was able to re-invent itself as a global financial hub.

Also a lot has to do with drugs being illegal. Legalize drugs or some other solution is needed. Making it illegal just drives up the price and makes the wages worth killing for.

Then there is the female headed family, a result of welfare, which can not work for civilization.

But this is what the elites want. Probably in another 30 years much of the USA will be just like Detroit and Chicago on a larger scale.

That's up to each individual to do what they want with their lives. The city can offer incentives, but maybe they want them to stay.

Zboy1 is correct. Adama, mentioned that because businesses left the town because of cheap labor (GM, Mexico). Flint, Michigan was similar and most companies try to pay the lowest taxes through kickbacks in Mexico I believe to have Tax holidays or so. Plus social welfare in many cities being rampant and single parent homes lead to problems in crime and violence.

America is similar to Ancient Rome when it reached its Plateau and and not it eroding at a rapid rate. This is controlled and most issues with class | race issues was setup by design.

However, because of the problems with American culture and society; Happier Abroad provided advice and a welcoming community where we can plan to go to different cultures and possibly live a less stress life and possibly find a nice woman. I rather hear advice for traveling in a country than to hear race rant too.
