We built a small franchise of businesses, with minimum help from banks and credit, and if my family is now in the enviable position of owning all of our businesses, as well as the commercial spaces they are in, plus a few homes including those we live in, plus businesses abroad in Romania, it's entirely because of hard work from every member of our family, including myself since I was 10. There is no secret recipe or formula, there is no miraculous investment scheme. Just hard work and a a relatively frugal life.

If you want to call hard working people "ordinary" because you received a free ride on the back of the US government, be my guest, but this is not the case for everyone.

What I find disturbing is that you are attaching the "loser" label to these kinds of people, as if you were part of some chosen elite. You're not, and your pitiful state of mind is a big tell tale sign of the way you chose to live your life: lonely, deluded, with no other friends than your beloved cash. I have been saying this for months, but I think some members see him as an amusing drama stirrer. The pattern I pick up is that anything resembling others' success with women or money sets him off like nothing else. We all know what that means. Yes, sadly, this is all true. For a very long time, he has been denying reality. He figured that in the Philippines, his Italian state benefit checks would go further. He thought that he might fake being educated/upper class and land a hot piece of ass he could used for income at the local brothel. Unhappily for him the dream ended as common kitchen help :/
