Wellington, NZ Protest
Wellington, NZ Protest
I'm not sure whether this is being covered much, but there has been a protest blockade of the main government facilities in the New Zealand capital for a couple of weeks now. The police hitherto haven't been doing much about it, but now it looks like they are going to resolve the matter by force.

It looks hopeful there will be some good action.

Re: Wellington, NZ Protest
This is unusual. Protesters marched across the Auckland Harbour Bridge. Usually when people try to do that the police bust heads and disperse them.

Yes, it doesn't seem to be as big a deal as the article seems to think, but a good thing nonetheless. It does seem like the situation in NZ hangs in the balance and maybe the covaids nonsense will decline.gsjackson wrote: ↑February 26th, 2022, 6:36 pmCorny, are you aware of this?

Re: Wellington, NZ Protest
This is interesting. Apparently some of the cops fired for not getting the clot shot are among the protesters in Wellington. Maybe this is why they haven't been dispersed by force yet.

Re: Wellington, NZ Protest
It seems that this is finally being resolved by force today, but I can't find any really good links.
Re: Wellington, NZ Protest
Here we go. It is good they put up a fight. The idea now would be to give it a few days for the police to disperse and move right back in again.

Re: Wellington, NZ Protest
^ That article is doing all it possibly can to avoid mentioning the reasons why protestors were there. A clear sign that the protestor's grievances don't align with the news outlet's agenda. Who could think that if it were "Black Lives Matter" they would get the same treatment.
Re: Wellington, NZ Protest
Yeah, the propaganda is really blatant now. That is why I wish there was better independent coverage of this and the Ukraine situation. There should be some global network set up, but I guess there is not much money in it.flowerthief00 wrote: ↑March 2nd, 2022, 8:32 am^ That article is doing all it possibly can to avoid mentioning the reasons why protestors were there. Here is some of the action. It is a shame they put the horse-faced tranny at the end.
