The highly anticipated facebook dating feature is live in testing mode in Colombia:

Since it's free I assume it will disrupt most or all pay sites like eharmony, POF, OKcupid, Badoo etc.
Even if it's free, I assume it won't be much different than other sites in western countries for most single men.
So I'm sure it will be used by most women as an ego boost and 80% of men will get nothing or almost nothing.
I'm sure Filipinas will jump on it asap so it has the potential to be an awesome new way to meet local Filipinas.
I'm sure it will put a big dent in Filipinocupids revenue.

Since Facebook is apparently responsible for 1/3 of divorces, a built in dating feature could increase that even more and it has the potential to change society in a big way, just like facebook itself has.

I've been using facebook marketplace since it launched and have had pretty good success on it selling things.

I heard about this also. My first thoughts, of course were towards meeting foreign women on there, although I think I read it will only limit who you can match with to people in your area, like Tinder.

It's live in Canada and Thailand now! I'm in the Philippines now, so I'll have to wait until i'm back in Canada in spring 2019 to try it out. I asume it will take a while for many people to join. Stupidly, it's only on the app for now, not on desktop.
