The UK is the same - fat women with slim attractive men is a very common sight.

On line dating has inflated the egos of women everywhere and help created a culture of looking for "Mr Prefect" and constantly wanting an upgrade. Terrible.

I have a new tactic on POF. I am going to only message local Filipina's. Chances are much better than anything else. I did the advanced search and searched for Catholic Asians and got quite a few results and messaged what I though were Filipinas and ones that clearly were. I already got some responses. It takes a while to take the pinay out of them, so unless they were born or came here when they were very young, my chances are much better to get somewhere. I just chatted with a cute 35 year old from General Santos City who's been here for only 2 years so is probably not too corrupted. She doesn't drink and looks sexy. I gave her my number and she said she'll call me in an hour.

I made some progress. Three of the Filipina's responded so far and I chatted with them using the POF chat system. Then the 35 year old called me and we spoke for a while. Turns out she works near where I live as a nanny during the week. She is up for meeting me soon she said. I chatted with another 28 year old on skype, and gave my number to a 24 year old. The last girl I met from POF was the Filipina I met in December once who was very nice but too larger for my petite taste. I would encourage other guys frustrated with POF to do a catholic asian search and hit up the filipina's. You will get usually get responses and phone chats, much better than I've gotten with anyone in 5 years. They are usually easy to meet and even if you don't get them as a GF at least you will get somewhere and take the sting of all the other BS on there away. Both the ones I talked to today, were fairly FOB, only here for 2 years. I didn't ask the 24 year old how FOB she is. The only GF I ever got was the hot Sri Lankan girl 5 years ago.

I told her of my plan to go there eventually to live and retire. She was very sweet and your traditional old fashioned Pinay. Looked pretty good for 35. Sometimes the POF links will work if you don't have a profile, sometimes they won't, not sure why. When I get messages from POF saying I have new mail, the send me the profile like of the sender, and sometimes I can see it without logging in, sometimes I can't. Can't explain why.

I keep getting so and so wants to meet you messages and without fail, every single girl that wants to meet me is a girl that I am not interested in. I've realized that even all the filipinas on here are a waste of time. I met one since joining. All the other ones I chatted and texted with eventually stop getting online or responding, so I deleted them. It really just is just a waste of time. Even the girls I chatted with said that they have not met a single person from POF even though they get lots of messages. Why the hell are they even on there? So as usual, even the filipinas seem to get an ego trip out of it. The thing is, a filipina moving here to find her supposed perfect guy and becoming as picky as the local girls is no different than me going there to meet and sleep with as many girls as possible. They are coming here because dating opportunities are much better for them here, while I go there because dating opportunities and selection are better for me there.

Even one who kept texting me and telling me how handsome I was stopped texting me after we chatted on the phone. She's only been here for 3 years, and said she much prefers it here to the phils, the opposite of me. Once they have been here for even a short time, they are poisoned by western society, it is unavoidable. This is a girl that I probably wold have turned down in the Phils for being a little pudgy and old at 26. Here she can afford to be picky. Meanwhile I have 18 year olds on DIA messaging me incessantly and skypeing me to the point of being annoying. I actually get a kick out of deleting their info, and never messaging them again. Every time I think of getting another GF here, I do get worried that it will turn into BS quickly. The problem is too that I really don't want to do anything but have sex with them and hang out at home. I don't really like leaving my apartment now and going out into public. People piss me off. I really only go out to buy food, and go to the library to get more DVD's to watch and CD's to rip. I stay in my apartment about 5 days a week and only go out in my local neighborhood twice a week. It is so easy to live this way. I can sleep until whenever I want, wear lounge wear and do anything I want and no ones bothers me. I don't even shave anymore and only trim my stubble once a week. Any girl I get with now would change that and I don't really want it. so unless they just want to come and hang out and sleepover I'm not really interested. I am no stranger to online dating but i never tried POF before until today.. I just was curious to see what kind of results I would get compared to yours.. I am a bit older and not nearly as attractive as you so it will be interesting to see how it goes.. I can say that in the last hour that I signed up I received about 11 messages and all of them look like i remember my grandmother looking before she died.. I also received 1 invitation from a filipina to chat live which I accepted. We were not really a good match so that conversation ended after about 10 minutes.

As far as someone referring to how well they did in philippines ... i want to add this because i really want guys to be encouraged.. i go there a lot and usually setup dates ahead of time and have plenty of backups to fill in the hours. Just for the hell of it i recently went there and wanted to see how many good looking girls i could bed without lying or paying. My tally was 15 in 9 days. Ages ranged form 20 - 28. I could have done more but i just was exhausted. I swear to you all that I am not handsome.. im just a shaved head guy in his 50s in average shape that happens to be willing to take risks and talk to girls that might seem unapproachable to most. and im willing to ask (politely and sweetly) for what i want.. if you are calculating that the only way i could have went to bed with 15 in 9 days is to have done more than 1 at a time you would be correct.. contrary to what most think there are a lot of girls there that are quite open minded to having fun even if they seem to be conservative at first. the downside is that probably they never did anything like that before and you will be having to provide instructions every step of the way.. lol

i will say that i totally agree with some of the contributors here that most filipinas range from unattractive to average at best.. but if you take the time to look and to talk you can find true diamonds in that place.. and a real diamond from the philippines is going to be a lot more beautiful than most other women in the world.

That trip was actually a one-off and i dont plan to repeat anything like that again in my life.. as i said i was just curious to see how crazy i could make it and what i am telling you is that the only limits are what you are physically capable of. The truth is I expect to marry someone in the next year or 2 and settle down and i am lining up the best of the best to either meet again or to meet for the first time.. probably my trips now will consist of meeting around 3 or 4 in 10 days or thereabouts to give ample time to see how we get along in a more normal 'un-party' like setting.. this will be very hard to do though coz i have a lot of pretty girls on my facebook page that really are expecting to spend a night with me. it will be hard to have to tell them i wont be meeting them.
