From the 25th anniversary DVD, some fascinating commentary from director William Friedkin, writer William Peter Blatty, the film crew and members of the cast.

The attention to detail by the sound men and make-up artists, not to mention the sacrifices made by the actors, with no CGI or special effects to speak of, is quite breathtaking.
