If we were to measure the level of pussification of the average Western man in the same time period, I bet my very average 19 cm shlong that it would be more than 24%.

Maybe they used better-looking nurses in the later studies than the later studies?
Maybe in later years, self conscious men have been self-selected out of studies.

Or because of evolutional competition the guys with long dongos could make more children. A comparison by race could be interesting too. I suppose it could be hormones in the milk or meat, long fake dongs on lesbian post op transexuals now being counted as the real thing and skewing averages, men who had operations, or something like that.
Or it could have to do with the spread of porn and some men thinking 8 inches is average, and less-endowed men feeling self-conscious and not participating in the measurement studies.

However, some experts have suggested that improvements in nutrition, overall health, and access to medical treatments may have contributed to a healthier body development, which may include the genital area.

Where females are all sluts, bigger dicks could have a mechanical advantage in impregnating them. Probably just an artifact of measuring though.

I've got another theory. Maybe men are more likely to experience some 'suction' down there than in past generations. I heard that some years after Clinton got a 'Lewinski' that a large percentage of young people did not consider such activity to be 'sex.' So maybe that increased it.
I suspect, though, it's more likely a selection error. Men with larger packages are probably more likely to be willing to display them than in past generations, after all the exposure to porn that went along with the growth of the Internet. But my other theory is more likely. With all the porn exposure, a lot of men probably think of themselves as small if they aren't huge because they are comparing to what they saw online.
