I like to go to the gym on the days that I am not working.
Just starting last year, I got a GNC membership and decided to buy protein supplements to help build muscle mass.
I decided to buy the "protein isolate" powder mix from GNC.
However, rather than gaining muscle mass, I seem to be LOSING weight. Which is good, because I think that I am 14 pounds overweight! Hahaha.
But at the same time, I am not getting super ripped six pack.
I think I am doing too much cardio jogging exercise on the treadmill which decreases muscle mass.
Does whey protein or isolate actually help build muscle??

Awesome advice from you, ghost. Thanks!Ghost wrote: ↑August 6th, 2018, 12:21 pm
Eat enough calories and get enough protein to feed your muscles, then do the exercises to grow them. But don't weight train and do other heavy exercise every day because you need resting periods in between. That rest is when your body is using what you've consumed (calories, protein) to repair and grow your muscles.
