New Hidden Board for NSFW Topics?

Hi all,
After being penalized by Google, I've been pondering what to do about all the adult related content on this forum related to sex, p4p and porn, or topics with such keywords in them. There are still a number of them on here. I was considering deleting them, but then I thought of another idea. In the forum admin panel, there is an option to set a board hidden, viewable only to registered members, and not to search engines or guests.

So what if I create a new board called "Private NSFW" or something like that, and move all the adult-related topics into it, so that they would only be viewable by registered members, and not guests or search engines? Then we wouldn't be penalized by search engines or family safe filters anymore, theoretically. If it works out, maybe we can allow nude pics in it too?

What do you all think?

@Winston,

The whole board overall should be hidden. We talk about too much that can corrupt ongoing "diamond in the rough" destinations.

On one hand, I think it would be a good idea, but on the other hand we talk too much on the regular threads about that it has become one of the main points of every board. (I assume the whole point of this site is for dating, and since sex is part of dating) But I do think that p4p and porn could go there without saying. Also, responding to the previous posters suggestion, I don't think that would be a good idea, since that would kill the seo for the site. Matter of fact, the only reason I found this site is because I was researching countries to bug out to if SHTF. And if I couldn't find any posts, then I never would have joined.

Sounds like a plan.
Besides the entertainment value, I come here for info on other countries and it's not all related to dating.

Done. Here is the new NSFW section. It is invisible to guests and search engines.

viewforum.php?f=44

I just moved a bunch of topics into it that contained adult related keywords in the topic title, which put them in a gray area.

I don't think I will allow nude pics in the NSFW section for now, since that would be kind of pushing it, and plus they are unnecessary too.

You are right. We can't hide the whole forum, since most of our new traffic comes from search engines (which greatly affects my online income as well). Also, we lose our ability to reach out to men in need without that new traffic as well. So there's no question that we should not hide the entire forum.

Just to let you all know, topics in the NSFW section, which is hidden, will NOT appear in the Latest 100 Topics Page. To see them, you have to go to the NSFW section directly, while you are logged in.
