Also, this hot Asian girl in Vegas wrote me on OkCupid. She grew up in Europe and was born in Russia, so she's been exposed to the same cultures as me. Wow what an unusual girl. She's looking for someone to hang out with here. Wow. It's unusual for a hot girl like that to write me out of nowhere!....

.... She just flaked out and stopped writing. So you see, even in the best case scenario here, I still lose. It's a lose-lose situation with no way out of checkmate.
Haha probably she googled you!

Maybe. lol. But how? She doesn't know my full name.
Google has face searches. She could have search on your face or found your Facebook page.

That Chinese girl is f***ing hot! DAMN! Those legs are lonnnnng! I like that face and that smile too! Now she is at least an 8-10 woman! I think I might grade 8.5-9, anyway...

For you she would be pretty close to perfect for sure! Xiongmao does have a point about rich Chinese tourists though. Any Chinese person not in China is usually not good for romantic pursuits. I would normally tell you to leave her be, except you are ethnic Chinese too! You can get her if you wanted to but, you might need to make a few sacrifices and or please her parents to some degree. Not based on your looks so much but maybe money and job wise... no telling... What is her age? Are you even interested in long term stuff or were you just hanging out with a hot tourist for fun?

In all my years of hanging out with Chinese people, one thing is for sure. Rich, smart, and beautiful Chinese girls NEVER avoid hanging out with "Different and Cool" people. They are always down to go out to a show, a bar, beach, wherever. Notice I said rich, smart, and beautiful. They must possess all 3. A Rich and beautiful one is usually too busy worried about being out in the sun or if she will loose face hanging out with laowai or black guys..... Only the smart ones are cool as f**k. Thing is though, any Chinese woman like that is hard to predict in terms of her interest level in you. I almost had one of these that even told my buddy she wanted great sex and he even told her, well kai can take care of that. I thought I was ready for home plate and she flaked on me so f***ing hard it made my head spin and pissed off my buddy too. Actually now that I think about it, this has happened to me twice! Oh well, I still won in the end, my wife is hotter than both of them. :P

Kai,
Yeah she would be my ideal type range. But she's only 20, kind of too young. She could not even legally drink alcohol in Vegas. lol

Plus, like you said, she's from a well off family, so her standards are probably high. However, maybe Chinese women, being very practical, care more about a guy's status and income more so than his looks?

You are right that Chinese tourists don't seem good for romance. They seem more focused on sightseeing and taking lots of pictures than on getting to know you or developing a relationship.

Why do you think an ethnic Chinese guy like me has a better chance with her? Because I have higher status to them? And they dream of coming to America?

Of course I was hanging out with her for fun, but for someone that hot, I would consider a long term relationship.

Btw, she said that her parents work for the government. Aren't government jobs low paying though? How did her family become well off? She didn't want to discuss that for some reason.

HOOOO! HO!!! Dude run! Leave that one be! If you work for the govt. in China and you are rich, the guanxi and corruption/graft is why! She cannot tell you shit about how. If you were from mainland China I would say it is okay I guess, but then again, if you were, we wouldn't be having this conversation anyway.

She is 20? Forget it. Too young. Like I said before if they are under 23 they are usually too young to get serious because they are usually still in college and no parents let them marry before that shit is done.

Back to the govt part. Always avoid Military connected/Deep govt connected girls. That is like trying to date the daughter of some Italian Mob boss in Vegas. That is a problem you really do not want.

You did not not read that correctly. Don't jump to conclusions too fast. Practicality does not mean all of them care more about status over looks. There are plenty of rich girls, I have met a few, that ONLY want an 8-10 man. They could give a f**k less about status.

One of the hottest Chinese girls (undeniable 10, body like whoa! Rock's fav kind, with a jaw dropping face) I ever met, once told a buddy, "Oooo who is that handsome guy over there? I like his suit and his tie. He is the hottest guy in this room" He told her, oh that is kai. Want me to introduce him to you? He is looking for a Chinese girlfriend and he speaks Chinese! Terrible move by my buddy!!! But he meant well! LOL. This chick was super crazy rich too. Women like that, you must use good game properly. No exceptions. A proper introduction without embarrassment, (My friend was kinda loud when he said that), and perhaps I could have gotten that number and then some.

If you want romance, take a flight to China, and use some of those tips I gave ya on that other thread in my China guide. It's alot more fun and easier. It's also easier to find 9's and 10's that are not some CCP General's daughter as well.

Not a good subject to discuss (skeletons in closet), and you need a better camera.

You are right. My camera's quality has deteriorated. I seem to have bad luck with cameras for some reason. I should buy a new one. The one I have I got from Walmart a few years ago for $99. It is a Samsung, which I thought was a good brand. What should I get this time? Are the ones at Walmart ok? I think they are the cheapest.

Why does everyone else's camera seem to have a wider angle lens than mine? Where do you find those cameras with wide angle lens?

If you like photography why don't you buy one of those high end ones? Like those Canons or Nikons? Aren't they like 500-5000?

You mean one of those big black ones that the pros use? They are big and harder to carry. I'd rather have a small one that's easy to put in my pocket. There are many good small ones nowadays. No need for that big one.

I don't blame ya. I hate carrying those things myself. I usually buy a cheap digital one whenever I need one. As long as it is better than my current phone camera I usually feel satisfied with it.

That's the one I just got! Wow how did you know? You read my mind. But I got it from Target because Walmart was out of stock. And even though it was labeled blue, it looked more like dark purple. It's a Sony Cybershot. I was going to get a Canon at first, but the Sony had more features that were easier to get to, and it allowed you to select more megapixel sizes. I take a lot of pictures and don't like overly high settings or overly low settings on megapixels. I prefer to set my camera at 3 - 5 megapixels. But Canon only let you select 8 or 2, not in between. Plus Sony Cybershot cameras tend to have sharp picture quality in my experience.

The problem with small digital cameras is that they take bad pictures outside at night, because you can't see the background, and the lights outside cause a distorted streaky glare. You can see this with some of the photos I posted in this thread. The camera staff said that that's the norm for pocket sized digital cameras.

Nice to see that you are getting out and about around Las Vegas. No reason to not take advantage of the short time you are there (I don't recommend staying long). It looks like you like Caesars Palace quite a bit:). I actually played Caesar at Caesars Palace for awhile. You've probably seen Caesar, Cleo and the Centurion walking around inside the casino...I used to do that...lol. It was one of those things I HAD to do in order to get over my fear of being in front of people. I actually had to give a loud speech a couple of times during my shift. That's what life is about IMO, stepping outside your comfort zone to learn/experience new things. Asian girls LOVE Caesar too....BONUS!....haha. It was cool to be in The Hangover, meet the director, etc, but unfortunately, you can only see my back from a distance...that's all the screen time I got dammit:). I guess the highlight was being on the cover of Las Vegas Weekly as Caesar...THAT was pretty awesome. Vegas wasn't all bad...just the relationship efforts there...lol. Anyway, check out the sites while you are there....no good reason not to.

On the topic of Testosterone replacement, etc., I recommend doing a complete male blood panel. Get your testosterone/estrogen levels checked as well as your thyroid, etc. I can also recommend a doctor in Las Vegas that is good, but he's expensive. I don't even live there anymore, but I still make the 8 hour drive up there to see him every few months. When you actually find a good doctor in the USA, that drive is nothing. I wish laws were like they are in Thailand, but you MUST have a prescription for Testosterone before you can do those shots in the USA. Don't risk doing it any other way...not worth it. I also don't recommend taking anything until you get that blood panel to check your overall health...

Hi all,
Guess what? Remember that Ukrainian girl I showed around Las Vegas earlier in this thread? Well when she got back to Ukraine, we kept in touch. And when she said she was looking for work but not finding anything worthwhile in her home town, I referred her to be a translator on Mark Davis' Dream Connections Romance Tour. She applied and got the job.

Last week she (Vera) worked on her first tour as a translator, and her client ended up getting engaged to the lady he visited on the tour! After the tour, Mark did a three way video interview with both Vera and her client Ryan. Check it out. It's very inspiring. Vera took the microphone and spoke several times during the interview. Her positive warm bubbly personality really shows in the interview (although she looked nervous in the beginning) and you can see that her English is very good too.

Ryan's story is very inspiring. Apparently, it was love at first sight, and his lady knew after 10 minutes that he was "the one". Sounds kind of fast, I know, but I wish them the best. When you hear Ryan telling his story, you will be envious if you are still single and haven't found your "soulmate" yet. Mark Davis said during the interview that his wife Anna says that she doesn't even remember her life before she met him. Wow, that's heavy. Perhaps love at first sight really does exist, at least for some people.

At the end, they all do a group hug, which was very sweet. Mark Davis' tribe really is like a family. I wish our tribe was that warm and lovey dovey too. lol. But as you know, we are all too negative and critical to do group hugs like that. lol

Anyway, here is the video interview with Mark Davis, Ryan and my friend Vera. It's a very inspiring interview, and I hope Mark Davis uses it as a selling piece for his tours, for it would sure sell well. At the beginning, Vera mentions that she met me during her travels and how I referred her to Mark's tours.

http://dreamconnections.com/translator- ... ationship/

Btw, you will notice during the interview that Vera says she is hoping to live in the US someday and still looking for her soulmate. If any of you think you might be compatible with her, PM me. She's only 23 though, so she probably wants someone closer to her age.

On my recent trip abroad, several members of my group brought Nikon Coolpix L820's. They're around $200 on sale.

I have to say, I was impressed with the zoom and photo quality of at this price.
