Which of my dreams is more likely, and why?

1. Finding one other programmer who writes good open source code.
2. Seeing 99% of modern humanity exterminated.

Both seem very unlike to me, but I think #2 is still more likely.

Option 2 is becoming more likely. Man’s technical capability has far exceeded his level of spiritual development, giving dangerous toys to apes. The world is ruled by competing psychopaths. Small bands of tribes may survive in the Amazon after a nuclear exchange has destroyed technology. The global weather circulation could prevent radiation from reaching the southern hemisphere. This would also give earth an opportunity to heal.

This is the first time I heard having such dreams like seeing the 99% of modern humanity exterminated. quite disturbing yet interesting dream.
