Knowing the position of Black women in Brazil, IE they aren't viewed much differently in Brazil than they are here (by White People), only the position of Black men in Brazil is well below that of Black men from America. In America Black men if employed are earning more than the average Black Brazilian male and successful Black males in America are doing very well economically.

On one hand I agree with Stephen in that if you're a Black man and it doesn't matter or you love Black women, then YES, go to Brazil or Colombia and seek out Afro-Latinas, plenty of them around, lots of them very attractive too, you won't get an argument from me.

But I also agree with Kai that as a Black man you can not approach non-Black women anywhere cold, it generally won't work for you or you'll end up with marginal looking women, even in Germany, even in the UK. Only in the US and maybe Canada (Vancouver and Winnipeg especially) where the reserve happens, you can get attractive with a cold approach especially if she's a White women in a nightclub that is frequented by Black men (and Women).

The truth is any country will work, its what techniques you use.

I personally know that finding a good looking Morena or White skin Brazilian will be difficult and as Stephen says (like other Latins) when they think Gringos with money, they think of White men firstly. Depends on how old you are... in Western influenced countries like all of Western Europe, the UK and all of the South Pacific (AU/NZ/JPN) you sort of have to stay in your lane. The reality that I don't look my age helps some, but not much. What really happens is that women around 35 (give or take a few years) are interested enough to actually contact me online. I gauge that as HIGH interest, in that if I made any effort to see them, I'd be in them guts in a few hours.

That would be okay if you don't care how they look... I happen to care quite a bit and most of these women are marginal at best, usually fat and usually BBW's, that includes the Black women that contact me.

1. Remember Jay Z and Beyonce going to Cuba recently? White congressmen got upset over that. Did they get a fine or go to jail? Not to my knowledge!

2. Lebron James went to some event/concert recently and the POLICE, blocked something like 2 streets so that he could get to the highway "safely" and not have to drive around other "regular" people?!!

3. In Detroit, the LOCAL POLICE guard the livable subdivisions, from all of the dope heads and other trash, and people of all races live there, mostly white, but come on. Why does dating black women as a "black" man make sense? Why do we even need to carry this title of "black man", when most of us are mixed anyway! Why do I need to be "Black"? White men gave us that name distinction. Why is that important to take everywhere with us, even abroad?

This is class warfare! The haves vs the havenots! The US is a rich man's club. The middle class is on it's way out. Eventually anyone not a servant or a rich person will no longer fit in, in this country. Much like Hong Kong, Singapore, Dubai, etc..

Stephen is right, forget the oppressors they will give you nothing but crumbs. This is the lesson learned from the Civil Rights Movement in America.

By giving us integration they destroyed what little economic prosperity we enjoyed during Jim Crow. They were still jailing Black men by the hundreds around the country for minor infractions because they were unable to pay fines. This trend continues today, who is much unlikely able to pay fines?

Latinos don't quite have that same problem. Carlos Slim the richest Mexican owns a TelMex/TelCel. If you go into a Wal-Mart you will find TelCel prepaid phones. That is one of the most popular cell network providers in Mexico, I have one of their SIMS I used while in Mexico City.

On this side of the planet and I would argue in Africa as well, Black folk don't own anything of significance. Africans are sitting on trillions of dollars of rare earth metals and other minerals without any money to properly mine it.

One way the Black community in Brazil (Bahia) can get a leg up on the lighter skinned Brazilians is to learn English, since that is the international language of business. This can bring in tourism and encourage others to invest in Bahia.

Stephen what you said is likely true about not being about to even speak intelligible Portuguese. You have the same problem with poorly educated Mexicans. They can barely speak the language and often times can't spell things in Spanish correctly. That is because really poor Mexicans had to quit school in order to help the family earn money to survive.

What Black Brazilians need to do is develop their own economy. They have a port, they have an airport. They have one of the best Carnival celebrations.

I have a ton of ideas and I am willing to help. Nobody listens to me here because my ideas are backed by millions or dollars or some other measure of success.

African-Americans can help Afro-Brazilians learn from the mistakes of the struggle in America. In fact, we should be encouraging Black with a good head on their shoulders to forget America and come here.
