Philippines Immigration Holding Passports

Several months ago Philippines Immigration in Cebu started putting a three day hold on all foreign passports. It means each time you go to get a visa extension or exit clearance certificate Philippines Immigration will keep your passport for three days and you have to go back to the Immigration office to get it. This is a real pain in the ass if you live a long way away from Immigration like I do or if your trying to leave the country in a hurry. I just thought I would warn everyone.
