From Bible.org
Thus, repentance always accompanies saving faith, even as it contributes nothing to justification according to God’s perfect standard of righteousness, the standard met by Christ—alone.
If you can discern this, in a roundabout way, this statement says that salvation has nothing to do with repentance from or of sin (which is correct).

Repentance from sin does not always occur or even completely occur. People will still sin even after salvation. The knowledge of the commandments is very, very deep. Most people will not understand the depth of the commandments and therefore will still sin. As an example of this, in Matthew chapter 5 Jesus explains the depth of some of the commandments that were around since the time of Moses. They are much deeper than most people know.

As for "saving faith," placing complete trust in Christ is what saves a person. There is no such thing as faith in Christ that does not save, and it is quite frankly an unnecessary and confusing complication of words. The word "saving" should be omitted, because it implies there is a faith in Christ which does not save.

The only faith in Christ that does not save is not faith at all; it is the belief that repentance of / from sins plus faith is what saves. Repentance from sin is work, even if it isn't outright called work, it is work, and no flesh can be justified by the works of the law, as Paul stated numerous times. Salvation is a gift. If it came through the side door of works such as repentance from sin, then it is being earned by turning from sin, which is the same as keeping the commandments, which is work.

Repentance of sin is necessary, but it has nothing to do with salvation. Salvation is simple: believe that Jesus is the Son of God. As for the angels, they are not flesh. They are not sons of God. Christ did not die to save angels. He died for mankind. If angels have a plan of salvation, it is impertinent to mankind, and the Bible is not written for angels.
Prudence is the knowledge of things to be sought, and those to be shunned.
