I believe mental and other illnesses CAN BE caused by demons.

At the end of Matthew 4, we read that Jesus healed those who were demonized (demon possessed in some people's lingo) and those who were lunatick. The passage treats these as two different categories.

If any of you doubt the reality of demonic possession, listen to this Art Bell interview with Father Malachi Martin from the late 1990s. He is a retired high ranking Catholic priest who served as advisor to three Popes and has performed many exorcisms in different countries for 30 years. His tales of his exorcisms are chilling and sincere and will make you a believer. He even talks about how objects move around during the exorcisms. And Art Bell asked him many good questions. This is someone with first hand experience, not an armchair skeptic.

Father Malachi Martin also did six more interviews with Art Bell which you can see here.

What the f**k is it with Jews, I mean kikes...wanting to control the world, geld, brand and neuter everyone; and absolutely Take Over any form of free and uninhibited way or form of life?

They've done it through their proxy religion Christianity as well. ...
Leave us alone. Get your controlling domineering, mentally abused and damaged asses away from the rest of the World population, please.

These people won't rest until the whole world is formed to their way of demented thinking and bent into a righteous guilt-complex.

Here is another Art Bell interview with another experienced exorcist named is Reverend Bob Larson. He is famous in America for doing exorcisms and casting out demons. This one is a bit scary though because they play a lot of audio clips from the possessed during his exorcisms. Dont play this if youre alone and afraid to be scared or if you fear that these sounds might attract demons into your home. These sounds are kind of disturbing, regardless whether they are of the truly possessed or not. Larson admits that demon possession is stronger in America than other countries due to the breakdown in family values, moral decay and inhumane treatment of others.

Check this out. Demonic possession is on the rise and soaring in America. Here is a Yahoo news article about a prominent psychiatrist who says that demonic possession is real after all.

'Demonic possession is real and victims seeking exorcism should not be ignored': Prominent psychiatrist on the world beyond

It is a phenomenon that is on the rise throughout the world: The number of cases of demonic possession - and demands for priests to carry out exorcisms - is, according to multiple sources, soaring.
This part is freaky and mind blowing:
Dr Gallagher was brought onto the team to talk to her about her ambivalence in leaving the cult and her fears and anxieties about the possession. The cult was like a home to Julia and she was in love with the cult leader. She told Dr Gallagher, regarding the cult’s power over her: “The sex orgies are a pretty big part of it”. But it was not just the sex. Julia had paranormal abilities that did not exist before joining the cult, according to Dr Gallagher. She directly attributed these abilities to Satan:

“I worship Satan. I don’t know about this God thing. There’s a lot of crap in the world. I don’t see how people can believe in a good God. But Satan I know. He gives me favours.”

Julia revelled in her psychic ability and demonstrated her powers for Dr Gallagher. At 3am one morning, the Gallaghers’ normally placid cats went berserk fighting in the couple’s bedroom and had to be separated. Such behaviour had never happened before and has never happened since. Later that morning, Dr Gallagher was introduced to Julia for the first time. According to the psychiatrist: “The first thing out of her mouth was ‘So Dr Gallagher, how did you like the cats last night?’. I even have a letter from her to a priest that says ‘we raised a little hell in Dr Gallagher’s house last night’.”

On another occasion, Julia demonstrated her ability at remote viewing. She told Dr Gallagher “we really hate Father -------”, referring to a priest on the exorcism team. She explained that it was her job to “keep an eye on him” although she lived in a different part of the United States. Whereupon she described the priest at that moment “walking along a beach in his blue windbreaker and khaki pants and he’s saying prayers”. Dr Gallagher promptly called the priest on his mobile phone and confirmed everything that Julia had described. The priest noted that normally he would be in his rectory at that time but on that particular day had decided to say his breviary while walking on the beach.

A sign of true possession is the victim going into a trance as the demons take over the body. The victim of full-blown possession typically will not recall what happened after coming out of the trance. In his multiple consultations with Julia, Dr Gallagher heard a demonic voice taking over. The voice would say things from Julia’s body such as "leave her alone you ‘----ing’ priest! You monkey priest - she’s ours!’ The voice would continue for about five minutes and then she would come out of the trance. Julia would then say to him: “What just went on?”
Eight people, including two nuns and two priests, told Dr Gallagher that Julia levitated during one of her exorcisms and he believes them although he was not an eyewitness. But he would not believe film or videotape showing levitation. “Demons are intelligent, malevolent, manipulative creatures. They aren’t going to perform for a camera. They know they’re being taped,” he said.

This is a must hear for anyone or has loved ones, suffering from schizophrenia, voices or possession. Check out Robert Stanley's three interviews with Dr. J, who has now retired and given out his full name - Jerry Marzinsky. It's very groundbreaking and a must hear. Dr. J worked for many years as a mental health professional in a hospital for the mentally ill and schizophrenic. During this time he discovered that the schizophrenic patients were not suffering from a mere chemical imbalance after all, as the psychiatric industry claims, but actual possession by interdimensional entities. Thus the voices they were hearing were not mere hallucinations, but actual entities.

Together Dr. and Stanley cover a lot of stories, examples and evidence for the possession of these patients by real entities, which Christian calls "demons" and Gnostic texts call "Archons" - mind parasites that feel off humans and control them. This is groundbreaking because it means that the psychiatric profession was wrong all along and that a different therapeutic approach needs to be administered. They discuss how these entities and mind parasites work and how to combat them. Some of Dr. J's clinical cases are mind blowing. If any of you have loved ones or friends who are suffering from schizophrenia, delusions, hallucinations or hearing voices, this is a must hear because it addresses the probable cause that the psychiatric industry doesn't want to admit.

Some of Dr. J's helpful suggestions if you or a loved one is hearing voices are:

- Put a rubber band around their wrist and tell them to snap it every time they hear voices. The entities hate that and get shocked by it and will temporarily leave when the rubber band snaps onto their skin.
- Play the song "Amazing Grace" or sing it. The entities hate that song and will be repelled by it. Citing Psalm 23 from the Bible works too. (You can play these from YouTube or download them from the internet to play offline)

To listen to more of Dr. J's interviews, search his name "Jerry Marzinsky" on YouTube. To hear more of Robert Stanley's interviews, search his name on YouTube, or visit his website at http://www.unicusmagazine.com to learn more about his research and discoveries. Also listen to Father Malachi Martin's interviews with Art Bell about exorcism and demon possession, which are up on YouTube and easily searchable. As an experienced exorcist and Vatican priest, Father Martin had many years of first hand experience with exorcisms and demon possession and many stories, cases and experiences to tell. Also look up Rosemary Ellen Guiley, who has done many interviews and presentations on entities and has appeared on Coast to Coast AM many times too.

Some of Father Malachi Martin and Dr. J's evidence that these voices are of real entities, and that possession is a real phenomenon, and not mere hallucinations caused by a mere biochemical brain imbalance, are:

1. These voices of schizophrenics are always negative and self-destructive. They try to get the sufferers to harm themselves or even kill themselves. (could this be the cause of mysterious suicides like Anthony Bourdain's?) They tell them that they are losers and worthless, and try to make them feel like shit and hate themselves. If these were mere hallucinations caused by chemical imbalances, then these voices would be a mixture of positive, negative and neutral messages, not 100 percent negative as is the case. Thus they must have an AGENDA, as demons and archons would, and are not random. Therefore, this doesn't fit the hallucination hypothesis.

2. These voices also know things they couldn't possibly know. They can speak through the possessed and tell others deep secrets about themselves, such as dirty secrets they'd rather have no one know. Many exorcist movies show this too, such as in "The Exorcist", and this is in fact a common occurrence among the possessed in real life. They call also tell the possessed where to find buried treasure or valuables, in an attempt to gain their confidence and trust, so they can gain their obedience and serve them. And it turns out that the voices were right, they told their host exactly where to dig and what they claimed would be there was in fact there. Dr. J saw cases of this. Only real entities could have such knowledge, not imagination or hallucination.

3. The voices can speak ancient languages that very few people understand, such as Aramaic or Hebrew from 2,000 years ago, during Jesus' time. Only demons and entities can speak such ancient languages accurately which the possessed never learned. There's no way around this. Again, many exorcist movies depict this too, because it's accurate and based on real cases.

4. The possessed can sometimes levitate themselves off the bed, or cause objects around them to fly around using telekinetic powers or energy, aka PK. And again, this has been depicted in exorcist movies, which are based on real cases. The famous exorcist Father Malachi Martin, also described to Art Bell how he has seen a few cases of possession in which the possessed levitated off their bed, like in the movie "The Exorcist". Obviously this indicates supernatural forces, not mere hallucinations.

5. The possessed also demonstrate supernatural powers and abilities. See this news article for examples, in which a prominent psychiatrist witnessed cases of possession involving supernatural powers by the possessed. These examples are more common than you think.
https://www.yahoo.com/news/apos-demonic ... 31844.html
https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2016/0 ... r-the-rit/

So you see, these elements of the possessed certainly do NOT fit the hypothesis of mainstream psychiatry that it's all a brain imbalance only, nor of the claim that only "inner psychological demons" from one's own subconscious mind exist, and that the outer demons that religion teaches don't exist, as Atheists and Materialists and left-brained types claim. Therefore, a new paradigm must be adopted to fit the data.

@El_Caudillo and @publicduende and @Contrarian Expatriate, question for you guys. You guys believe that no real demons or entities exist, and that only inner psychological demons from the subconscious mind exist, right? And you have a strong bias toward that position too. Thus you are claiming that no supernatural forces or unseen forces or non-physical entities of any kind exist, right? If so, how do you explain the 5 features above of genuine possession, which Dr. J and many others, have witnessed in many schizophrenic patients and in those who are genuinely possessed? The 5 traits above certainly DO NOT fit your hypothesis that it's all due to brain chemical imbalance and random hallucination only. So how do you explain that? Do you UPDATE your hypothesis and beliefs, as genuine truth seekers do? Or do you erase all these REAL characteristics of possession from actual cases from your memory and pretend you never heard them, in order to preserve your biased belies and mental boxes, as stubborn ignorant closed minded people do? WHICH ONE???!!!

As an agnostic, I have no definitive opinion on the existence of god or the demonic realm. Both COULD exist, perhaps even likely exist, but one can not be absolutely sure at this point in time.

One thing that I do look to as evidence of the existence of demons are the accounts of those who have experienced Near Death Experiences (NDEs). Dr. Raymond Moody studied these people who were clinically dead and resuscitated come from all walks of life and from all religious traditions to include atheists. Remarkably, the accounts of these people had striking similarities and SOME had accounts of being among demons.

While the NDE accounts do not PROVE that demons, the afterlife, and god exist, they are highly suggestive that they do. But since I don't know for sure, I remain agnostic.
