I'm not sure how an ABC accent sounds like. Are there any examples?
And how are 2nd generation expat Asian American girls who grew up in their parents' country different than those raised in America?

Being raised in another culture they are expected to have different reactions to social stimuli then American raised children. Things Americans do out of habit may be seen as disrespectful or nasty and she will not do them. It may be something as simple as calling all males big brother, thus letting him know up front that he was just friend zoned.
