Probably something about kids accepting gay parents and inculcating acceptance of gays by the younger generation.

On the other hand, it may not have any message at all. Just a bunch of singers who happened to be gays or gay-ish simply came up with an impromptu composition.

I discovered it's from a late 80's children's musical movie straight to video from some low budget video company. The entire movie has been uploaded to Youtube if you want a good laugh...
