Yay, the repugs won the senate. Good on you guys.
They are projected to lose the house by 25 to 35 seats, which means the Dems can harass Trump.
We'll see.
Right now they're up 202 to 185.

I can't even believe people wouldn't keep them out.

I know Donald Trump is only one man, but I wish someone had campaigned for the House candidates as much as Trump did for the Senate candidates.

The House does not matter nearly as much. Sure, they can block legislation but the real power is in the Senate because:

1. It takes conviction by the Senate to actually remove a President. Trump will not be removed from office now even though the House will likely impeach him for the drama of it.

2. Now Trump's picks for the Supreme Court will have easier confirmation in the Senate. Ginsburg and Breyer might go, and Thomas could retire early just to give Trump yet another conservative for a grand total of 5 Trump appointees!

So the Communists took the House. We all know what that means, right?

It's not just the Supreme Court. It's all the federal courts. And now that Repubs have picked up a larger majority, they can appoint judges that are even more conservative because they have more cushion. Kavanaugh was difficult because there was so little cushion. Dems keeping the House was expected, and it might even be better than they gained so many seats because it makes it more likely Crazy Pelosi will be speaker, and that will probably help Repubs in 2020.

Okay, Rush Limbaugh mentioned today, that somewhere between 40 to 45 Republican House members retired this term. He thinks that is the real reason why Republicans lost the House. If it had not been for that, he believes the Republicans would still have control of the House. Apparently incumbents have a 98% re-election rate.

Yes, this is actually a win for the Trumpers and a vindication of right-wing activists.

Although those who lost may have not been in Trump's camp, Rush seems very upset at their loss nevertheless.

I'm listening to Michael Savage now, and he seems to think that suburban women didn't turn out for this election, and he blames that as the reason, rather than the House members retiring.

I wonder which one has the valid theory.

We are already seeing the benefits. Gutless maggot and traitor Jeff Sessions is gone.

Don't sweat it.. in 2020 the board is flipped with massive take over of the Congress by Republicans. Pelosi and Waters in charge will be a disaster..

The part that concerns me, is that it seems like TX and FL are becoming blue states, probably due to all the people who are moving there. It's like there are so many of them everywhere. No chance that some red state people could move to a blue state and turn it red, for some reason.

These are revolutionary times though. We are jockeying for who is going to run the organs of state before we start killing each other.

Lol, Trump is pretty much the last Republican president. It's over for Republican party if you look at the demographic data and understand economics.

1. The current Republican party is basically old white men. Trump LOST the popular vote 2 years ago by 3 million votes against a super weak candidate no one wanted. The demographic data SHOWS Texas and Florida will be blue states by 2020 lol

2. No mass deportations and no end to mass immigration. Get real. The U.S. IS TOTALLY depending on the population going up. You people are so f***ing stupid. See: https://bit.ly/2JPQBrp

When the Republicans lose the power there will be war... WE ALL KNOW WHO will whip the pansy libs. Since you want to throw what will be through migrations and stats.. I'll ask you who do the military and law enforcement back? Blue or Red? They will stand with RED..When the war comes you'll either flee or die. Check out those Trump Rallies of 30 + at every rally.. Do you really think the democrat libs who can't decide which bathroom they will choose male or female will stand and fight. Metrosexual urban males.. you are the stupid one..
