Something has been bothering me. All these guys that give PUA/TRP advice tell stories and give advice that is so far away from what I have experienced in reality. One simple example is the manosphere's compulsive need to "control" the interaction. In my real-life experience, it is much better to get the girl talking as much about herself as possible, and keep your own mouth shut. Also, Roosh is always complaining he can't find a girlfriend after supposedly f***ing 100+ women. The whole obsession with numbers sounds a lot like the product of a celibate mind, since I quickly fatigue after f***ing a few different women.

The idea that Roosh has been living in EE for five years and can't find a relationship is unbelievable.

I think all these PUA types probably know less about women than the average guy.

The Roosh Forum or RVF has been on a long slide since I first saw it about 6 years ago. When I first went there many of the articles were Travel. I found it interesting. Now travel is only a small part. Roosh has also changed greatly since his first book "Dead Bat in Paraguay" which is a fun travel narrative. Today Roosh has to keep up an image of a stud. Roosh rewards guys who claim to bang 100s of women. If you get on his site and doubt one of the Big Ballers is really banging a 100 girls a year, you'll get banned as a Game Denialist. Any "boy" on there that says he's banging many women is NOT. Guaranteed. It's all fiction, so there is no need to wonder. Yes the boys on PUA sites know less than the average guy.

You're probably right. However, another reason their advice would tend to be bullshit is that whether females want to f**k you usually depends on objective features beyond your immediate control, but saying that would not sell books and seminars.

There is a big difference between understanding how to have relationships with women and understanding how to get laid.

Roosh understands how to get laid, he understands how to exploit a sexual dynamic.....but he doesn't understand women.

Women who are looking for long term are not looking for guys like Roosh, he is a gallivanter, a pirate and a hustler, he has a wild untamable attitude, lacks clear direction and he has no solid purpose apart from banging club girls. His style of pick up is based on the dark triad psychology, which refers to the personality traits of narcissism, Machiavellianism, and psychopathy, which are called "dark" because of their malevolent qualities. It is manipulative and only works on women with low self-esteem or deeply psychotic in nature.

So he can pick up girls.....but not the take home to meet mum types of girls.....his B.S. does not work on the type of girl he would settle for.... self-respecting women with good heads on their shoulders.....his ways would have the opposite effect with them.....be quite repelling.

So, any girl who does want to get close to him is not going to be a girl he would settle for.....infact none of the girls he f***s are the types of girls he would settle for.....this is why he has never found a relationship, he is too stupid to ever figure that out....

but he only knows one way and he will keep getting what he gets until he changes his ways....which is unlikely to ever happen because its clearly not evident to him that there is any other way.....or any other type of woman. Like most guys......he believes that the women of his past represent all women.....so he will keep doing what he has always done and he will keep getting what he has always got

An extreme example of that is Forney. I mean jees, there is a guy who would be incel in any era.

This is the same type of idiotic quip as "Trump and all these other Republicans just Democrats," or "Asian and all these other foreign women are essentially Ameriskanks," or "Jeff Bezos and all these other billionaires are really just broke."

What I hear from such statements is laziness and an inability to succeed for whatever reason (aspergers, obesity, poor hygiene, etc) so the wholesale dismissal of a discipline at which you fail makes you feel better.

The fact is that Roosh is not a PUA. He wrote some books on PUA as a subject, but he is an advocate for Neo-Masculinity which incorporates knowledge of "game" in order to become sexually fulfilled. He is world-renowned (and reviled) for helping thousands of men who seek out his counsel but granted, a few men can never be helped for a variety of reasons.

PUA as a concept is not useful for men who have found success thru trial and error, but PUA jargon can have some extremely useful nuggets that even I benefited from.

I feel you on that sentiment. This is partially the result of fatherless (or spineless father) upbringing. A "bItch-made man" will always while like a bItch.

I'm doing just fine. That's why I am saying, the real-life experiences I have are completely different from the things I see written on PUA forums. The stories these guys write sound like pure fantasy, like saying "I was walking down the street and this girl started taking off her clothes".

I dont doubt he got laid. He was a fake it till you make it guy, he BS'd his way to success. His main weapon for pulling club girls now would be having a huge male fan base who think he is the shit, any city he goes to he can hook himself up socially with his idolizers and go clubbing and he has a tribe of males who all follow him around and pedestalize him and force him into the dominance position of the hierarchy, women in clubs are materialistic and status driven.......they see a man being worshipped by a group of men....they dont know who he is, but they assume he is important. He has the whole dynamic working in his favour to appeal to their hypergamy. It also boosts his ego being ass licked by fan boys.....which makes him feel good about himself, which boosts his mood and confidence and makes it very easy for him to talk to any girl he wants.


I have experienced similar social dominance, except I wasnt a PUA god, I was a simple DJ and event organizer. I build my own social hierarchy from scratch, it took some years.....but even in the first few months as a complete rookie I became instantly more attractive to women, before this....women rarely fancied me before. So I understand how he has created his own global social hierarchy and takes full advantage of it

It's kind of poetic justice that Roosh himself has been at the receiving end of some karmic banning lately.

There are some great members on his forum though, I get some really nice and intelligent PM's. I don't go on there much though.

The first factor for this hiatus is that site revenues are too low. We’ve been banned from Paypal and countless ad partners, which forced me to lay off the site editor last year and also lower payments to regular contributors. This started a negative spiral of declining content quality, site traffic, and revenues. Even the beloved comments section, which many see as the highlight of ROK, was badly hit when Disqus banned us. Currently, ROK receives half the traffic of its peak and less than one-fifth of the income.
