America's prison system has Prader-Willi Syndrome.

I am sure some of you know about Prader-Willi Syndrome. It is a disability that causes insanely intense hunger all the time. To put it simple, a person with Prader-Willi Syndrome will be starving hungry even after eating a heavy meal. It causes hunger to the point where food has to be locked away all the time. Chains and padlocks have to be put on refrigerators and freezers. Locks have to be put on cabinets, pantries, and cupboards. Even garbage cans and dumpsters have to be placed behind locked gates to prevent scavenging. Otherwise, 1, a person with Prader-Willi will eat heavy and continue to gain weight at astronomical rates, and 2, one with Prader-Willi would engorge on food in one sitting until their stomach pops like an overinflated toy balloon, which is an extremely fatal situation.

Likewise, America's prison system also has a form of Prader-Willi Syndrome. America's prisons are overcrowded, but America continues to make more laws and criminalize more things every day. Already, it is technically illegal in America for men to approach, court, and pursue women, but society continues to tell guys to break the law and pursue women. Almost everything requires a permit. Failure to get a permit for something requiring it results in fines and even jail. Overcrowding leads to disease and also violence between inmates. Often it is inmates vs inmates, but inmate vs guard altercations have occured. Bringing a prohibited item through the airport is automatic prison in America. Conversations related to 9/11 and terrorism in most public use facilities, including the airport, can result in prison. Interacting with strangers in America can easily result in a prison term. Even videotaping at public use facilities like restaurants, shopping malls, and such can result in prison. Especially if the police decide to charge you with disorderly conduct.

That's one reason why I don't want to return back to America anytime soon.

America is also of what's called "negative identity"- where agreement equals defeat & anything supportive/affable/towards is of low-quality. You see this sometimes with people that have had traumatic childhoods or simply violent lives, thinking about what's suitable to negate something like that= "What's a good weapon?" They reject things that aren't destructive, in that case.

So, what's going to happen in a trial? I mean, even if the members of the jury (which are not called "judges," despite that they're making judgements) weren't closer to the prosecution- which typically creates a temporary bond with the prosecution (people usually aren't comfortable near enemies, so they figure out something they like about them or just conclude that they aren't the Bad Guys).

Even if there weren't 20+ cops shows on TV that show them, at least, as being almost %100 correct in their accusations- never mind the subject of whether the response is proportionate or if they're dealing with less severe situations in real life than the actors on the cop shows are dealing with (ex: pot, concealed weapon, driving without a license VS rape, murder, child abuse).

Never mind if the cop is lying to protect his or her career, which is maintained at other people's expense- possibly more than the one time the jury is seeing at that trial.

Or the fact that they don't psych-test these people like they used to or that they don't get tested all the time.
