Prostitution would immediately lower the sexual market value of every woman in America since the supply of sex would increase hugely. That being the case, mainstream women would see their bargaining power over men decline precipitously feminists will not let that happen.

Its been legal in amsterdam for ever and it hasnt prevented non whores from finding men.

I cant think of any country where legal prostiution or high prostiution rates has any impact on regular relationships

infact.....the way I see it is that a high hooker ratio makes non hookers more or a rarity....and therefore in more demand.

That's not a very good comparison for three reasons:

1. The average Dutch woman is 10x more attractive than the average American women thus their ability to attract remains constant.
2. The prostitution is Holland is essentially a highly regulated (brothel-based), tourist magnet for the Red Light District.
3. Most of the prostitutes in Holland are older and/or less attractive than average Dutch women therefore they primarily only appeal to desperate foreign men.

But your premise is false as well because:

In 1970, no fewer than 123 521 marriages were concluded in the Netherlands, an all-time high. Since then, the number of marriages has steadily declined, to 64 549 in 2013. The Dutch population, on the other hand, rose from approximately 13 million in 1970 to almost 17 million people in 2013, so that the crude marriage rate dropped even more sharply, from 9.5 marriages per 1 000 inhabitants in 1970 to only 3.8 per 1 000 in 2013. Figure 1 shows how the marriage rate and number of marriages continued to decline between 2000 and 2013.

Finally, I put it to you that Japan and Germany are two examples where marriage has been hugely plummeting due, in part, to the somewhat more open and free legality of prostitution than Holland.

you have any proof on this being because of prostitution?. Or are you attributing correlation to causation?

When you have an even basic understanding of economics and sociology, it becomes a matter of common sense. Sorry you aren't able to see that.

So, with no proof and only an argument of authority. You must be attributing correlation to causation. Which is fine.....I just dont agree.

The rates of marriages are also declining in USA.....where prosititution is.......illegal. Is that a correlation or 2 seperate things?

Prostitution is virtually legal in Thailand and the women are beautiful and has way more hookers than germany....hasnt broken up the family unit.

Prostitution has been around alot longer in nederlands than the year 2000, if prostitution was the cause, it would have happened alot sooner

Prostitution was legalized in Holland in the year 2000 and the steepest drop in marriage took place between that year and 2013 according to that study.

But none of that is even necessary to consider if you understood the simple concept of supply and demand. Study the relationship of how an increase in the supply of sex for men lowers the demand of men to obtain it via marriage. None of this is rocket science, but I think you are getting so mangled in statistics that you don't understand sufficiently that your conclusions are false.

Legalizing prostitution America would lower the SMV of average women because men could get sex from prostitutes, period and full stop. Next issue!

It really depends on the price of prostitution. In places like Sydney, Australia prostitution is legal buy so overpriced that horrible Aussie females still have an unreasonably high SMV.

Ah, arrest, prosecution, and public listing as a sex offender are disincentives as are the exorbitant costs for unattractive, low-tier, substance-abusing, down on their luck women. Sure there are attractive call girls, but they are cost-prohibitive for most men.

I am not sure that prohibition stops very much, just pushes it underground

most men would want female companionship, a wife, sooner or later. But at least incels and MGTOWs now have an option. Without legal prostitution, it's really causing a ton of men to not even bother with women anymore, due to many reasons, one of which is a lot of men have no sexual experience and thus do not know how to get women, and if prostitution was legal, this incel mentality wouldn't be so widespread.

god forbid they would have to actually learn how to get good with women

The only thing allowing men to leave the U.S. at all is the fact that so many men won't listen to the advice of Happier Abroad. The moment this message starts gaining traction, you will suddenly see all these "private" airlines refusing to sell tickets to heterosexual regions of the world.
