I have another take on this matter though. Who cares about what MrMan sees or what he thinks he sees, or what he claims he sees? He only wants an opinion and gave his own opinion.
Who cares if he is unable or unwilling to judge another man's looks?
Because he is the one repeatedly going out of his way to 'clarify' that for some reason he can't have an opinion on the matter. At least Yohan was a tad more honest and said he doesn't comment because he is straight.
You guys might pretend otherwise but everyone here can see thru the backhanded discourse.

I agree it went out of proportion, it became interesting on its own lol. But It's not even about sexuality, it's just that it's kind of dialog-disrupting, so it stuck out enough for people to take notice.

I also agree accusing someone of being homo for criticizing homosexuality is a common liberal bullshit/shaming technique, 100%.
But in this case you guys are flipping it and doing it too. So we are homos because we say someone might be homo or conservative. Everyone here accusing each other of being homo lol.
I wouldn't be so sure about this. There is never a reason to make an extensive inquiry into the nature of another man's masculinity or sexuality if he isn't going to marry your daughter.

Whatever MrMan thinks or doesn't think, it doesn't affect you or RF one bit. No one has the right to demand evidence and testimony from him as proof of his heterosexuality which is just nonsense and garbage. It's pretty outrageous to even think a person has the right to demand evidence from someone on anything from their own life.

Actually whether or not you or RF are homosexuals doesn't interest me, but just using logic, who is it who wants to shame heterosexual men for being heterosexual if not a homosexual or a lover of homosexuals? To the point where some people think they can demand testimony from the man.

And I bet if someone demanded testimony of heterosexuality in real life from someone, you'd both flip out, as a violation of the homosexual person's human rights. It would be seen as complete bigotry, if the three of you knew each other in person and saw each other daily.

Some of the people who told me of why they went into psychology told me it was because it helped them with their own problems. In essence, the field seems to attract people who have mental issues themselves, and somehow they think that if they, being blind, become leaders of other blind people (their patients), that somehow both of them are going to benefit from this help. It's astonishing logic.

I've also known a few of them that I would personally diagnose with personality disorders.

I do think some therapy can help people, but often times it even backfires completely.

Anyhow, we know some of them went through all the trouble to write 40 or so volumes of the Talmud. Cunningly devised wives tales.

I can't tell if men are good looking. I wouldnt' have know the man was supposed to be good looking if I hadn't read it. The woman is good looking, but wouldn't you say that you've seen women who are better looking? They could have done something a bit different with her nose, and where the nose meets the lips. She could possibly have benefited from more prominent high cheek bones.
Their faces are "unoffensive" with good symmetry, but such a title probably wouldn't generate many clicks.
A composite face is about as interesting and "beautiful" as a box of composite crayons.

Your right. Some Jews use manipulation, time, deception and sympathy to promote all the unnatural and nasty shit you listed. Money, power and the media are their weapons. Israel is the most anti-multicultural country on earth. Its is astonishing how Jewish scholars and politicians when questioned with regards to this, and many of the other things you mentioned, evade substantiated accusation.

They claim to be supportive of multiculturalism in their own countries, however most non Jews living there are on working visas and have no voting rights or rights to land. The excuse they give for abortion is feminist based and based on psychological crap like post-natal depression concerns. And as we know they are constantly blaming the Palestinians and committing atrocities and hoping for genocide. They are constantly screaming they have and currently are being oppressed by, wait for it, 'modern like Nazi treatment'- They have used this to silence cultures, countries, societies and governments into doing what they want for years. Its delusional, its false, its genocide and its WRONG!

Jews say they have been victims throughout history (another sympathy attempt?). But, perhaps people have to start asking themselves why!??? Perhaps the real answer is they bring some of this upon themselves. Doh!
Its been said the best way to fight this oppressive extremist Jewish invasion, is to use the very ideology and methods they have against us. Scream victimization, gain political far right power and mass media control. Thanks to Trump, people indoctrinated for years are waking up and far right politics is on the rise here in Australia. Great times are coming!

PS: Carl Marx was another sociological Jewish nutcase, who poisoned strong, Christian white culture with his manipulative, deceptive and evil BS.

I suppose I grew up thinking that women could tell if men were good-looking and men could tell if women were good-looking. But women could also tell if other women were pretty, to some extent.

Then I'd occasionally hear a man tell another man that he was good looking. I'd also heard of homosexuals saying men were good looking. I did not hear men complementing other men's looks all the much in the US, but I heard it in Asia. Maybe I thought of it as empty flattery and did not think much about it.

I hadn't talked much about this, except with a fellow expat friend of mine from the US who lived in Indonesia. He'd lived in California, and I remember him talking about how he couldn't relate to how men could be attractive to other men. I felt the same way. This may have been the only time up to then that I'd ever talked with another guy about the subject.

So I was surprised from the reaction on this forum. I had seen some posts about the competition for dating talking about other guys being good-looking. So that was a bit different from my personal experience. I expected most, or at least a lot of, other posters to nod their head and think they couldn't tell either when I said I couldn't tell if men were good-looking. But then I got the weird reactions earlier in this thread.

So after this, I am curious. Am I that unusual? And is it really that normal for heterosexual men to be able to perceive male attractiveness.

I did a google search. There was a woman complaining on a Q&A site about men claiming they were not able to answer her question about whether a man was good-looking. She treated it like the men were being dishonest so as not to appear gay. I also saw another thread along the same vein. Other men chimed in. Some men said they could tell if a man was attractive. Others said they could no tell at all. I remember one poster who said he had a very rough idea.

So I've had a few conversations with men about it. I've asked Indonesian men about their perceptions. In the US, a lot of men are concerned about not coming off as gay, so they don't hug other guys or complement their looks. Indonesians don't seem to have the same level of concern. Indonesians aren't overly affectionate, most of them, anyway. But it doesn't seem like they are concerned about other people thinking they are gay.

I had a conversation with a PhD and a couple of older PhD students who have their masters degrees. The PhD said beauty was in the eye of the beholder and did not directly answer whether he could tell if he could perceive if men were good-looking. He said there was some research in that area, but then went on to talk about some research that was on a related topic, but not what I was looking for. (A quick Google scholar search of mine did not turn up research on this particular topic.)

So I asked the two middle-aged PhD students who are also working. They both have masters degrees. One is a musician on the side. He said he could tell if a man is good-looking. Maybe it has to do with being the 'artist' type. He liked La La Land, too. He's also married with children and doesn't act gay.

The other one said he could not tell if a man was good-looking. He seemed to be about like me on the issue.

So then I mentioned my previous conversation to a couple of Indonesian men I was talking to at night. One was a contractor. I don't know what the other one did for a living. Both were in their 30's or 40's with families. The contractor could tell if men were good looking. The other one said that women were the one's who could tell if men were good looking. He couldn't tell.

My sample size is small. But so far 50% of men who answered the question can't tell if other men are good-looking. On the one hand, I don't feel weird like I'm 'handicapped'-- be it in some trivial way that won't effect my life really. On the other hand, the men who said they could tell if other men were good-looking were married with children and did not give off a gay vibe, so I'll assume it's a normal thing for some men to be able to perceive if other men are considered attractive.

I am not a Hollywood movie director, so I don't see this as a particularly useful skill for me. But it is good to know that this is a normal thing.

In the case of very masculine, non-pretty men, I can’t really tell if they are good looking. For example, the young Leonardo Dicaprio was good looking, but what about the young Anthony Quinn? Female movie goers presumably thought so.

I don't get it. Put a wig and lipstick on a young Dicaprio, and he would have looked attrocious.

I don't know what patterns the brain recognizes in men to percieve them as attractive. If it's the golden ratio, there is something missing for me, because I perceive certain women as attractive but not men, and it would be the same ratio for both. I can't figure out why Brad Pitt is supposed to be attractive. I would think his nose is too far from his top lip or something. Maybe his face is symmetrical. But you can't intellectually analyze what the patterns are that make one percieve somone else as attractive and percieve it by knowing that formula or characteristics.

For me, it's like looking at horses and trying to figure out which one other horses would find attractive. :)

I guess it's a little different for men, since for us status plays a big part. Female movie goers back then might have been attracted by his stance, voice etc too. That's why butt ugly rockstars, presumably, still get a ton of action and females 'desire' them. The visual aspect playing (or used to at least) a lesser role.

Or perhaps also some dudes are the equivalent of the "whore faced" big breasted women that are a big turn on, but not strictly pretty. Say gender 'markers' over accentuated etc.

I tend to think certain females would think tough-looking hyper masculine men were good looking, even though I don’t think other men would. Think your stereotypical rugby prop forward. For example, a guy I worked with a couple of years ago was big, dark, swarthy with very thick features and somewhat overweight, and looked like you could break a two by four over his head without him noticing. Females seemed to find him reasonably attractive. If some female had asked me if he was good looking, I would have had to reply I had no idea and she should meet him and judge for herself.

I used to think status mattered. Now I say it doesn't.

A celebrity or rock star is exactly that. They are false idols, false gods, who are worshiped. So you can eliminate this as contributing to status. This is not status most men can hope for. And most of these men are doomed.
Frat boys? I used to think this was about status. No, it is just sluts who want to remain anonymous gravitate towards them. Their bedrooms are in the nightclub. That is not status.
Fast/Hot Car? That is not status either. That only allures to greedy women. So you attract greedy women to you.
Flashing large salary? Same as hot car. Attracts the crows to dine on your ashes.
Height? Only important for women who fetishize height the same way some men fetishize women's feet.

And except for the women who go for height, the type of women who go for these men are probably complete whores anyway.

The other thing is, not every woman likes the same type of man. Some women like certain types, while others like other types. I don't think women have universal opinions about the type of man they want, although it may seem that way. Everybody likes different things in every category.

Attraction is individual, and it is in the soul. Using bait and lures in the forms of "status" and wealth only attract the flesh. It doesn't compel the soul. Nothing can compel the soul. It is either there or it isn't. In other words, it's a gift.

There is a lot to be said for inner beauty, the personality, the soul what ever you want to call it. It often counts for far more than hotness by traditional ratings.

I learnt that lesson when a very hot woman I was seeing said she doesn't know what I saw in in my ex. I'm far too good looking a man for her. My ex is attractive and pretty but not the head turning 10. But a decent person. This woman then met my ex ad said to me she now knows what I saw in her. This woman may have been a 9 but she is like a 1 inside and no where near a decent woman. the lesson to look deeper than tits body arse clothes make up etc when rating is a lesson many men take a long time to learn. To their own detriment. A 7 in looks and 9 inside being 16 out weighs a 9 outside 7 inside.

Yeah, unfortunately many don't learn this until they are much older or nowadays not at all...The main problem is finding the right balance. We all know the cliche regarding inner beauty and whatnot, and many fatties and unattractive people in the so called progressive movement use this as an excuse to bully others to accept their look. However, there is a lot to be said when dealing with someone who is obese or considered ugly. Some of it may be genetic but it is also a telltale sign of underlying issues with the individual that's being hidden. A person on the low scale in looks, below a 5 for example, if they tried hard through lifestyle changes can always bring their attractiveness level up to at least above average. This is where inner balance or higher form of the soul comes through to rebalance physical deficiencies. I'm genetically above average in looks from what I've been told but age and life gets in the way of anything someone was lucky to be born with. If I didn't constantly monitor my health by changing my diet, exercise, stress levels, etc, I'd be a physical mess right now and not looking attractive at all. I'm not physically perfect, but I know enough to maintain my body above a 5, which is considered average.
