How is going to & from Canada?

Hey, everyone. In Spain now & trying to find out more about going to Ireland (if you take long enough courses, you can work- I don't need to go back to the US to do it), but I'm thinking I'm going to have to cross the ocean again at some point.

I was thinking of landing in Toronto, since there's one of the best Systema instructors in the world there & there seems to be ALOT of assholes to start shit over me being white or whatever in the US airports (figure there'd be less of that in the northern part of the country).

So, I was wondering: how it is? I'd be getting in from Portugal (which might be the case if the Ireland idea doesn't work out), taking a bus or a train through to NYC, and back to my place on Long Island. Not sure if I'd keep the knife I bought in Budapest, I last smoked weed (technically hash) in Madrid, I'm a white guy with a beard & long hair (fairly "Logan-looking," so I'm told). Guess that's all the details.
