Even fake people are still authentic in a way

This might sound stupid, but think about this.

Even people who put up fake personae and act in contrived ways for stupid social reasons are still being "authentic" in a way, because they have the kind of personality that's prone to puffery and being fake.

Some people are natural fakers, in which case--they kind of aren't faking at all.

Just some weird thought I had. Personally I still think putting on a fake persona is the worst thing you can do for your mental and spiritual health. If you have the natural inclination to do that, it's probably better to try to quit.
