1: Russians distrust anything cheap.

48: Russians cannot do anything that requires putting a car in reverse. It can take the average Russian driver ten minutes to parallel park (I've seen it countless times).
49: Winters in Russia are actually quite beautiful, and Russians are fantastic winter drivers.
50: Russians are actually freer than westerners; there are less laws and social constraints, and yet the crime rate is lower than in the US or UK.

I have met Americans and Russians and I don't see any difference...Lets not be superficial and give our power away....We all are One humanity...

For how long would be tolerate this BS...Russians that, Americans this....I'm yet to see a post on 50 facts about Russians and Americans being same...

Imagine the potential..when both Americans and Russians and Chinese and Indians would all combine as one force... :shock: :shock:

Oddly, to me, this sounds less than a place to live - than a vacation. Hard core guys are fun for me.

Some of those things in the list are true. But others aren't. The level of petty crime in Russia is higher than in the US. Laws aren't very well enforced and police (militsia) don't really care.

One thing that should be added to the list is that Russians expect you to be generous all the time (not just once, but always) without end, but they do not have to be generous to you at all, instead they can be very cheap and stingy to you. It's a total double standard. Also, Russians think it's shameful to take out food at a restaurant. They think that if you can't finish a meal, you should let them throw it away and waste it to show off how rich you are that you don't need any extra food. Unfortunately, if you are a foreigner, you are expected to do the same and your right of choice is not respected.
