If you haven't heard of them, Fusion Centers are secret regional offices where intelligence is shared between local police, the community, and the FBI. These are run by the Department of Homeland Security and were meant to act as places to report suspicious activity. You can send in tips via the internet. These were started by Bush after 9/11 as part of the Patriot Act. Predictably, all this new power is rife with abuse and Americans like you are being spied on, especially those with views of America that are not mainstream. Neighbors are encouraged to spy on each other. The motto is: IF YOU SEE SOMETHING, SAY SOMETHING.
